When a friend introduced me to her tush cush, I had just ridden for two and a half hours in a car that left my lower back aching. Within fifteen minutes of getting into her car and sitting on her tush cush, my back felt good again. She made the tush cush a gift! Since that time, I've bought two more for myself and four for my father. My car cush travels with me where ever I fly. My back and I are thankful for the person who invented the tush cush!

My physical therapy appointment for piriformis syndrome was postponed another month and I was desperate, so I ordered the car cush with the hope that it would make sitting at my desk all day somewhat tolerable. It has. It does indeed make it easier to sit up straight and not slouch, which really helps the lower back. In my case, I literally have pain-in-the-butt and sciatica from it. This is just soft-and-firm enough to give me some relief, and it helps me sit with a healthy posture so my hips and lumbar aren't having to react to my butt pain. Didn't give it a 5 because I haven't used it long enough to know.

I purchased this item because I have an office job where I sit 7 hours out of the day, and was very pregnant still working. After sitting for all that time, my tail bone was so sore I couldn't even sit when I got home I had to lay down on my side. I bought this out of desperation, and it definitely helped me get through the day. Would recommend!!

The tush cush is way too small for me and I am by no means a large individual (5'11" 175 lbs). Would be helpful to note that this seems to be a small version of the tush cush - I have an older one that works fine. Should also note that returns/exchanges can't be made after removed from plastic - would have been nice to be notified upfront about this

I have to sit a lot for work and my office chair is rather comfortable, but after many hours I get sore from all the sitting. I have a small frame and so I figured that this compact-version would be suitable for me. Unfortunately, the cut-out is way too large for my build. I tried using it but it just caused more pain/discomfort than I had without it. Also, I only weigh 145 but the pad seems to immediately flatten out/compress and thereby provides little to no padding. Honestly, for this kind of money, I expected something a little more substantial. In addition, they should make one available with a smaller-cutout for those that have narrower frames. I immediately boxed it up to return it.

I have had Sciatic Pain for the past two years and sitting at my computer really fires it up. All I an say is that either the pain has miraculously receded on it's own or this Tush Cush really helps. That said, the Tush Cush seems a bit narrow. I think that the company makes other models that are wider. I am 5' 5", weigh around 120, have a small rear and I am planning on getting a wider one next time.

I bought this to beef up the cushioning in my office chair. When I removed the packaging and put it in the chair it looked tiny. I sat in it for awhile and then discarded it. It just isn't comfortable for the chair that I want to use it with.

I just bought a BMW M3 for my wife. We noticed that although the sport seats were beautiful, they were also the most uncomfortable we had ever experienced.

After a 30 minute drive our tailbones and legs would start to get numb.

Bought one of these cushions. It works great. From the second I sat on it I knew it was going to help. It did. The quality is much better than the images suggest.

AND... believe it or not, it's made in America!

I bought two cushions because of the high reviews. Although I didn't have any back pain, I wanted a cushion to help me sit higher at my desk. I'm not sure if there's a secret to how you're supposed to sit on the cushion, but almost immediately I felt discomfort in my knees, similar to when I sit in a movie theater chair for a long time. I tried the cushion in my car, but it didn't fit the seat properly and made for a slightly uncomfortable ride.

I think part of the problem is that the cushion is made of a hard flat foam that would be a problem fitting any contoured seat. The construction seems to be pretty good, but a larger cushion with a softer seat would probably be more comfortable.

If you have back pains and believe the other reviewers, give this a try. If you're looking for a seat cushion to sit taller, try something else.

I am an accountant and spend 9+ hours a day in a standard issue corporate task chair hunched over a computer. The setup is unnatural and causes many problems. I have a kneeling chair which works well but not for long periods of time. I tried this to add to my standard chair and it is surprisingly good. It tilts the angle of the hips just enough to make it easier to breathe and work. I have ordered another for my car.
