As a long time and proficient user of Autocad R14 I was looking for a manual to get me going in Land Desktop 2000 and above. This book is a very good tutorial for a new user if starting out in Autocad 2000, and can also be used as a reference for commands, but for anyone who is a R14 user looking to upgrade to 2000 there is another book, (Harnessing Autodesk Land Desktop 2005 by Phillip J. Zimmerman) that I found better suited as a command reference. Since many of the commands use the same key strokes to execute them working in 2000 is very similar to R14 once you learn the menus and plotting conventions.
