Book Description

November 25, 2011
Tutorial Lady's Alt Key Guide is a handy reference for writers, webmasters, students, forum users, Facebookers, Tweeters, Squidooers and more.

This e-book tutorial contains how-to instructions and lists of 150 different characters not typically found on a computer keyboard... including symbols for copyright, trademark, heart, smiley face, foreign letters, math and music symbols, punctuation, currency, arrows and fun shapes to spice up your print and online publishing.

Three formats are included: Windows Alt Key symbols, Unicode characters and HTML codes... so if you're not sure which will work on the various online applications you use... you have 3 options to choose from.

Here's a sampling of what you'll get with your Kindle tutorial, which includes instructions plus the codes for 150 highly useful symbols, including some fun graphical symbols like smiley faces and hearts:

(1) How to Make Windows Alt Key Symbols
Using the numeric keypad (NumLock on), hold down the Alt Key and press the numbers shown, in succession. Then let up the Alt Key.

(2) How to Insert Unicode Symbols
Type capital letter U, the plus sign (+) and the numbers and letters as shown, in succession. Then hold down the Alt Key and press letter x. Then let up the Alt Key.

(3) How to Use HTML Numeric Codes
Type the Ampersand symbol, followed by the Number sign - &# - and then the numbers in order - followed by a semi-colon.

More About the Author

I'm an inspirational writer, budding photographer and the Tutorial Lady for spiritual entrepreneurs.

Currently I'm stalking the magnolia trees in my neighborhood, waiting for the buds to open so I can take their pictures. I love to use photos from the natural world on my blog at www.WhatLifeWants.com.

I've been writing tutorials for years... and have now begun to format them for Kindle. I've published 3 Tutorial Lady Guides so far. My next project is to create inspirational e-books based on my blog posts.

Oh yes, my next house will be a log cabin with a writing porch. I've seen it in visions already. Life is good. Or, as Abraham-Hicks would say, "The better it gets, the better it gets."
