5.0 out of 5 stars Two equals four (or five), July 3, 2009
This review is from: Tv or Not TV (Audio CD)
This album proves that the genius for story-telling, verbal imagery and biting social observation didn't merely reside in the collaborative efforts of the entire Firesign troupe. Proctor and Bergman are deft commentators, skewering everything from our fascination with plastic to the disposable society that creates and throws away everything from light bulbs to celebrities. Spending time with the Theatre has always been akin to hanging out with the frat-brother that got the full ride to Harvard. At turns hilariously sophomoric, frighteningly insightful but always entertaining, this is classic Firesign. Enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars " Never point a Robot towards the Sun..........", March 8, 2008

This is hilarious stuff. From Tobor Radar Robot, to Salute My Boots. Definitely ahead of their time, Peter & Phil.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surreality Check., September 5, 2005
This review is from: Tv or Not TV (Audio CD)
Procter & Bergman are half of the Firesign Theatre, but since Firesign audio dramas are infinitely rich you scarcely notice that half of them are absent. If you are a fan, get this CD. If you aren't, get it anyway and become one. This is another amazing adventure in America's past, present, and future.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Difference Between Yams and Sweet Potatoes, March 17, 2004
This review is from: Tv or Not TV (Audio CD)
Years before cable TV became a household menace, P&G brought us this just-as-good-as Four or Five Crazy Guys production. While Phil's "Roller Maidens..." is equally fun, this tops my list of solo (or duo) efforts by the Theater. Ouch, I just hurt myself. Can someone get me a lozenge?
