Great stabilizer,

I recently had surgery and my bathtub is pretty high. Therefore, I needed something to help stabilize me as I got into the tub to take a shower. The grip is very secure, so I don't expect it to fall off. Gave me a sense of security.*** update *** Just wanted to mention that while I still appreciate having this product, on some occasions, one of the sides has started coming loose a little, causing it to slide. This seems to happen about once a month. Because of this, I would recommend that you test it prior to putting your full weight on it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great idea; dreadful execution - Don't Buy!, March 16, 2008By D. Tepfer "needmorebookshelves" (Washington, DC) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) This is a great idea, but it doesn't work. Before I saw the critical reviews I purchased 3 grips : 1 for myself, and 2 for gifts. I diligently followed the directions, and attempted to install the grip. It sorta adhered to my tiled shower wall, but when I needed it, it failed, and came off in my hand! This is too dangerous. I tried again. I woke up in the middle of the night by the crash of the grip falling to the floor.

I no longer dread stepping down into my sunken shower,
By Friar Tuck (Phoenix) - See all my reviews
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have a severe balance problem and have dreaded the awkward step down into my large sunken shower. Putting a Bath Safety Grip Handle at each end of the shower has been a tremendous help in entering and maintaining my balance while showering. They're particularly helpful while washing my hair at one end and shaving in front of a mirror at the other. I don't know how well the suction works on other surfaces, but it's great on tile and porcelain. After four weeks, the handles have performed exactly as stated in the product listing. I have no complaints, and they're well worth the money.
