Good product - Has an oversized cutting head and strong barrel-spring cutting power. Good for tough nails.

I bought these to cut my grandmother's toenails with, and they WORK. Definitely want to soak the nails prior though to prevent splitting. If you're trying to cut nails that won't cut with regular nail clippers, try these out.

This is an excellent toenail tool. Unfortunately, the older one gets, the thicker the toenail (especially the big toenail). This clipper exceeded my expectations. I would heartily recommend it.

After reading all the positive remarks about these Tweezerman toenail cutters, I can only assume that the supplier or manufacturer are writing their own reviews because these cutters which I received last week, can barely cut butter let alone toenails. They are a complete waste of time and money.

I bought these nippers because of the good reviews. Received them the other day, and the next evening tried to clip my toenails, which I nearly ruined in the process.

The nippers crushed my toenails but never did cut them.

Thinking that perhaps my toenails might be a little TOO thick, I tried the nippers on a couple of thinner items...like some very thin cardboard...the kind that a chocolate candy bar is packaged in. Nothing. Then I tried it on a regular paper envelope folded in half. Still nothing.

Asked hubby to try them just in case I wasn't doing something right. Still nothing.

So I'm not real happy with these nippers and am returning them for a refund which I will use to buy a different brand. This review in no way reflects on the seller, who does not have control of product quality, and is (so far) being very responsive to my concerns.

I've been through many clippers looking for an implement to cut my thickened toenails. This is finally the one. Highly recommended.

I got this product for my eldery mother as she has troubles with the traditional nail clippers, these are so much better , great quality as usual for tweezerman products.
they are very easy to use since they open up automatically and they can cut really hard nails. she's very happy with them and she needs minimal effort to cut now.
