What a fabulous book to have at the holidays and all year long. It reminds us of all the treasures there are in life. There are things big and small that happen and everything that happens is to be treasured.

This is one of the best Christmas gifts I received last year. This book is sweet, has great ideas, and is full of warm, happy sentiments. I liked it so much that I could not stand to put it away with our other Christmas things, so it will be out on the bookshelf year-round!

If you want to be truly blessed during the Christmas season then this is the place you want to find those blessings. All the ways to share in wonderful memories and to make new ones are suggested here. You'll want to go straight to the kitchen to try out the old fashioned recipes that remind us of the Christmases long ago. What a wonderful way to preserve all those loving foods and customs for future generations. You won't be able to stop reading untill you are at the last page.

This book is one of my absolute favorites for the Christmas seasons. Not only does it have beautiful poems, and sayings, but it also has special recipes for the family, and wonderful crafts and memory making ideas. I will never go another Christmas without this wonderful book.

This is a must have book, and a perfect stocking stuffer for anyone.

"The 15th Day of Christmas!" What is going on, here? Well, for all of you Christmas lovers, out there, Christmas is not over; in fact, it's a 365/24/7 experience, "if you choose it to be". The blessings of Christmas are not just for that time of year, or even the season. The blessings of Christmas, hopefully, will last you the whole year; better than that, I wish it lasts you a lifetime.

One would have to understand that as a Christian celebration, Christmas is the manifestation of the Presence of Jesus Christ, be it as a small child, be it as the kind Jesus who celebrated with the couple at their wedding, be it the sensitive Jesus who brought someone back to life, or as the suffering Jesus celebrating a meal with His apostles.

How do we translate this into our everyday life? For instance, you and I know each other, and one of us is going through a difficult experience; the other one of us, reaches out to help the other walk through the difficult situation, sometimes, only by listening. Another instance may be, when I or you, knowingly go out of my way, or your way, to lift the weight off another's shoulders, so that one person alone is not carrying the full weight. Still another instance would be that throughout our daily experiences, seriousness can be transformed so that each of us feels the comfort of someone else's understanding heart. Humor, a smile, a kind word....all go a long way!

How many of you have gone out of your way to drop off some home baked goods to someone you know? How many of you are able to just sit with someone who needs only your presence, not your dominance? Who, out there, has felt overwhelmed enough to surrender the weight to God, only to hear from or see someone who puts that smile back on our face?

It is my hope, that after you have read this lovely book, you, too, will receive the 12 blessings of Christmas: warmth, music, kindness, memories, faith, beauty, friends, love, giving, family, peace, and hope. As you read through this light-hearted and whimsically illustrated book (using the cleverest of fonts) hold on to the prayers, the quotations, the recipes, the illustrations, the inspiration, inside, and incorporate some of these activities into your everyday life, and make known, the Presence of the Christ Child. Then, Christmas will be a lifetime celebration.....for those who have eyes to see!"

This is a wonderful, book with great ideas of how to make a holiday special. I recommend this book to anyone looking for ideas of how to make new traditions a special part of the holiday season. Also, a sweet gift for anyone including grandparents, parents, teachers, and friends.

Love this little book! I have given several copies as gifts to friends. It is satisfying both visually and in content.
