Parodies of the Twelve Days of Christmas are great fun - in this all the gifts are cats of different varieties or actions. The drawings are cute, amusing but uninspired. Still, if you need a stocking stuffer for a cat love (or to infuriate a dog lover) this is delightful.

I think it's a cute Christmas book for cat lovers everywhere. It takes the familiar Christmas carols and gives them new lyrics as told from a cat's point of view. I loved it and didn't get bored at all. I bring it out each Christmas season to enjoy.

This is a beautiful little book that reminds me a lot of Jan Brett's work with all the details. The things that the cats are doing are what cats do, although I'm VERY glad that my monsters aren't peeking down my chimney, like the climbing cats of #3. LOL VERY highly recommended.

I was delighted when I received this book. It came quickly and was packaged well. There was no damage whatsoever. I would order again from this person and I was very satisfied with this book. This book has adorable illustrations for anyone who loves cats. It can be read to young children singing the tune to "The Twelve Days of Christmas," and you can also pause on each page to count the cats. It's a sweet, simple counting/singing book for young children and everyone who loves cats!!

Most everyone has heard of the Christmas Carol, The Twelve Days of Christmas, but now a delightful spin on that popular song, for children and cat loving adults alike: The Twelve Cats of Christmas, by Kandy Radzinski is just that.

In this adorable holiday book, the author features twelve cute as can be cats in various poses, playing, drinking milk, and just have a fun time. The story, a parody to the original song, is told in sing song rhyme:

On the fourth day of Christmas,
my true love gave to me
four Siamese,
three climbing cats,
two cats asleep,
and a white cat with a red bow.

The author/artist Kandy Radzinski has created a page turning delight which rich, colorful detail that truly makes the book a keeper for years to come. If you have not had the opportunity to view some of Radzinski's illustrations in the past, you need to check out one her books. Highly Recommended.

Nice illustrations and humorous parody of the 12 days of Xmas. A good Xmas gift for the cat lover.

What an enjoyable book to read (and of course sing) to children. The cat illustrations are beautiful and it is easy to identify different objects.
