This is great contemporary jazz from your Europe. Nice interaction of guitar and vibes! Heard at sample on the JAZZ IMPROV CD and had to get ahold of it.

Despite that you can not go wrong with any playing that includes Mike Mainieri, in this CD, the fist Marnix Busstra quartet that I have a chance to hear, there is a great demonstration of his multiple musical capabilities as a guitar player, in this CD you'll find so many techniques from so many guitar players that for a minute you will think that you are listening to other musicians and check the artwork to see if you are listening to Marnix Bustra. Impressive work and it is an all original composition material. This is a must have album. I hope the next recording from this group is already in the press.Keep on playing guys its a real pleasure to hear your work. |
