Adjustable Shelf for Mac
Little shelf that's out of sight, but not out of reach.
BackPack is a sleek, sturdy shelf designed exclusively for your iMac or Apple Display. This gorgeous slice of steel makes a perfect perch for hard drives, USB peripherals or business cards. Included vertical support pegs prop up tall drives, Time Capsule or even your MacBook Air. BackPack hangs on the back (or front) of your iMac using two clips and gravity. Built-in cable management rails hold your power cords in place for grab-and-go convenience. BackPack is here to help you create the minimalist zen-like workspace your Mac was made for.
VIP parking for your gadgets and gear.
BackPack is the perfect place to park portable hard drives, hubs or other USB peripherals you want to hide, but need easy access to. Built-in cable management rails on each side of BackPack keep your cables in place. No more watching your power cable slip to the floor when you unplug. You can even tie the extra length of cable to the BackPack rails to keep things super tidy. When you bring your hard drive back to your Mac, your cables are ready and waiting.
Uses gravity to hang tight.
BackPack hangs on the front or back of the L-shaped desk stand on iMacs and Apple Displays, using gravity and two simple, adjustable clips. Because the BackPack uses gravity to stay in place, it will not leave any scratches or marks on your machine.
Hangs on the front or back of Mac.
Hang BackPack on the back of your Mac for taller peripherals or to dress up your workspace with trophies or Transformers. Attach this cool little shelf to the front of your Apple display and stash your iPhone, wallet and keys or mini hard drive up and off of your desk.
Or imagine this killer setup: a MacBook Air resting on a BackPack on the back of your Thunderbolt Display and a MacBook Air SuperDrive parked on a second BackPack in front. The choice of what to display and store on your BackPack is half the fun of owning one.
Tall is no problem for this small shelf.
BackPack includes four vertical support pegs that hold vertical hard drives in place. The vertical support pegs can also be used to safely and securely prop up Time Capsule, Airport Extreme, MacBook Air or any other device that weighs up to 3.5 pounds. Coated with soft silicone, the support pegs won't leave any marks on your gear and can be arranged in different formations to accommodate a wide range of devices.
"The new BackPack now includes new inserts that improve compatibility with the newly released 21.5 and 27-inch iMacs (Late 2012), as well as most Apple Displays and previous generation iMacs. Designed exclusively for iMacs and Apple Displays, BackPack is a sleek metal shelf designed to hold everything from backup hard drives, external peripherals or even a MacBook Air with its included vertical support pegs. BackPack can also be used as a forward-facing shelf to hold your iPhone or Apple SuperDrive, while handy built-in cable management rails keep your cables nearby for grab-and-go convenience. BackPack is here to help you create the minimalist, zen-like workspace your Mac was made for."

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the shelf screw into my iMac Stand? Will it scratch it?
No. The clips, when tightened, are a fixed width apart. The BackPack shelf is then held onto the iMac stand with gravity! The only thing that actually touches the stand is the non-scratch, plastic Fit Inserts.
Can I use BackPack for holding my MacBook Pro on the back of my iMac/Apple Display?
No. BackPack has a weight limit of 3.5 pounds, which is perfect for a MacBook Air (2.96 pounds) or Mac Mini (2.7 pounds), but not MacBook Pro.
Isn't Time Capsule too large for the BackPack shelf?
Positioned flat, Time Capsule or a Mac Mini would be too large for BackPack, however, the four included vertical support pegs let you safely and securely prop up Time Capsule, a Mac Mini or any other hard drive in a vertical position.
