Review

"Hats off to Joe Nowinski! The overall approach . . . is consistent with Hazelden's treatment philosophy. Specifically, the reliance on the Big Book and other AA literature, the emphasis on involvement in the fellowship of AA, and the therapist's role in constructively confronting and working collaboratively with the client are all consistent with Hazelden's approach. Overall, the methods used are ones that we are comfortable with, and use as well." —Patricia Owen, Daniel Anderson, and Fred Holmquist, Hazelden Foundation --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
A helpful resource for addiction counselors working with the 12 Step Treatment Model. I purchased this as a used book and feel I was overcharged for what was sent: a library copy taken from circulation. I'd guess the vendor probably paid little for the copy, yet charged $50. A rip off in my opinion. Buyer beware.
