4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent collection., October 13, 2008

This review is from: Twenty Fanfares for the Common Man (Audio CD)
The breadth of the collection is impressive. Biased toward the first half of the 20th century, with some notable exceptions. The Piston fanfare is a delight, as are the WWII-inspired items. The performance is very good, and the recording somewhat less so, but still quite enjoyable.
