3.0 out of 5 stars 22 Illustrated Stories of Jewish Mysticism for Children, December 19, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Twenty Two Gates to the Garden (Paperback)
I haven't actually read it so excuse the 3 stars rating -- Amazon wouldn't let me leave it blank. But I found these reviews in a websearch:

The Twenty-two Gates to the Garden is a collection of mystical tales drawn from kabbalistic tradition and composed for readers of all ages and backgrounds who seek lives filled with wonder, amazement, enchantment, and faith. Each tale is a gateway to a world of mystery and discovery. Age-old teachings of kabbalistic tradition are spoken in the voices of the tales' main characters, which include a King and a Queen, a Prince and a Princess, and a remarkable Teacher. While inspired by the wisdom of Jewish mystical tradition, these tales are inviting to all who seek enriching and profound spiritual teachings.

"This book is a treasure of hidden wisdoms inspiring us all to enter and learn in the most beautiful of ways, through a story."
Peninnah Schram
author of Jewish Stories One Generation Tells Another and Tales of Elijah the Prophet

"This melange of gentle stories is suffused with the spirit and the mystery of Jewish mysticism and the deep love of teaching children the wonder of God's world."
Rabbi Marc Gellman
author of Does God Have a Big Toe?

"Drawing upon classic Jewish mystical images and themes, The Twenty-two Gates to the Garden is a wonderful book. Its compelling tales involving dreams, visions, and unexpected lessons in magical places help convey the splendor of kabbalistic wisdom for all of us today. This is an inspired work that not only youngsters, but adults as well, will find deeply satisfying and soul uplifting."
Dr. Edward Hoffman
author of Visions if Innocence
