Book Description

November 10, 2005
Twenty Something in the Twenty Something’s is a completely realistic and compelling novel and the only one of its kind that has been written by somebody who has truly faced the many challenges that an aging generation must face. This life-altering book was created in the hope of breathing a breath of fresh air into a generation that seems to be lost and confused in a fog of temptation and personal sabotage. In this incredibly inspiring book, author Jeffrey Moore introduces an analogy that has helped radically change not only himself, but many around him as well. The analogy is that "Life is like one giant domino effect". Author Jeffrey Moore helps to explain how, "Every decision and action you have ever made has help to create who you are today. If you are feeling lost and unsure on what direction to take your life, this book may be the answer you were looking for. From choosing a career to setting and achieving any goal you wish for. This book will provide the reader with a sense of direction. Learn how to re-shape not only your life but your destine as well.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

BRADFORD, Ontario - In his early 20s, Jeffrey Moore realized his life was going nowhere. He snapped out of his apathy and developed a plan that boosted him out of his rut and challenged him at every level. In his new book, Twenty Something in the Twenty Something's, he offers a work written to inspire an entire generation to do more with their lives than they ever dreamed possible. As a person who overcame a life of partying and the consequences that came with such a routine, Moore knows how difficult it can be to pick oneself up and start fresh. His advice is both inspirational and specific. In each chapter, Moore provides detailed guidelines for tackling each topic, whether it be kicking the habit of procrastination or cutting the number of hours one wastes watching television. At the same time, his writing style and anecdotes motivate readers. His chapter on conquering fear, an emotion he dubs "the four letter word that starts with 'f," and the section on spending frivolously to keep up with peers are not only informative, but also prompts people to evaluate their priorities. Twenty Something in the Twenty Something's is full of workshops that teach readers how to properly set goals and achieve them. His "six key fundamentals" will help people radically reshape their lives. His philosophy that each decision one makes in life creates a subsequent domino effect also invites readers to look at their lives objectively. In a confusing world with many uncertainties, taking the leap into a purposeful adulthood is a scary prospect for many 20 somethings. Moore's new book helps a lost generation by providing leadership they can trust

At 24, Moore has created his first book with the simple goal of encouraging young people to not only reach their goals, but also exceed their potential. A college dropout who has discovered that the most important lessons in life are taught outside of a classroom setting, Moore currently spends most of his time as a motivational speaker at colleges and high schools. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.
