Review

"A fun book filled with unique ideas for giving gifts and creating very special moments." -- Dr. John Gray, author of Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus

From the Inside Flap

When it comes to romance guys, quite often we just don't get it. Dates like Valentine's Day, birthdays, and even anniversaries sometimes don't seem that important to us . . . so much so that much to our regret, we simply fail to remember them.

Women start planning for their wedding day when they are still little girls and one of the single most important moments in her life is when you get down on your knee and ask her to marry you. She will never, ever forget that day . . . nor will she ever forget how you carefully created a very special moment in her life.

We may not be born romantic, but we can learn.

Make it happen.

Dave

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now for the woman's point of view . . .
Ahhhhhh, romance. We thrive on it. If you only knew the dried roses we've bundled lovingly with ribbon to remind us of those times you made us feel so special. And don't even ask about the saved cards, love notes, play programs . . . I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture.
Women love to feel special. And, face it, guys! If the woman you love feels special, she makes you feel special too. So, surprise her! Do something fun and exciting that makes both of you feel good.
And, as Dave always says: "Women don't really care about how much you spend; they care about how much you care." It's your caring that makes her feel loved and special.
These stories are basic stepping stones to help you to become creative about giving gifts. You'll have fun, she'll have fun, and the whole world will see you together and know how happy you make each other.
Best of romance to you!
Jean
5.0 out of 5 stars Twenty Ways is wonderful..., July 19, 2001
I read this book with a smile on my face and laughter in my heart. The stories reminded me so much of my dad. He was always doing something creative to make anniversaries and birthdays very special occaisions. The story in the book, "Treasure Hunt" on page 92, brought back some fond memories of his crazy treasure hunts in our home. I strongly recommned this book to anyone who wants to celebrate a special day with fun, romantic moments that will last a lifetime.
5.0 out of 5 stars It Works, July 18, 2001
My girlfriend's boyfriend received a copy of this book from his sister and actually used one of the ideas to propose. This guy is so unromantic under normal circumstances so when he proposed to her by placing a gorgeous diamond on the hand of a porcelane doll he gave her for her birthday we were all shocked and impressed. Since then, the book has been passed around our little group and we're waiting for the next surprise from someone. I made sure my husband saw it when it was at my house!
5.0 out of 5 stars This book inspired me!, June 7, 2009
This review is from: Twenty Ways to Pop the Question (Paperback)
I was looking for ideas for my proposal to my fiancee (she was my girlfriend at the time), and this book inspired me. Actually, I did not even use any of the "20 ways", but it inspired to want to do something that would make her feel special and loved which, I think, is the goal of romance.
Short book. Easy and fun to read. I think it is worth the money.
P.S. Also, about half the book is devoted to other occasions besides "the question" such as Mother's Day and Valentine's Day!
