I read this book in one sitting and I have to say it's pure friggen genius. I hope there's a sequel.

So not only did this book hit upon all the silly/retarded/annoying things that appeared in the original (and my god, were there a lot of them), but it was seriously well written and hilarious. The ending was awesome and I can't think of a bad thing to say about this book.

I read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, and, while I enjoyed it and found it rather addicting, I am not blind to its overt adolescence, which was a time I gladly left as soon as I could. I still enjoy the book, but I skim over the let's-bludgeon-ourselves-with-Edward-Cullen's-perfect-eyelids nonsense and Bella's incapability-of-true-independence/autonomy-from-a-male-lead-and-lack-of-a-healthy-sense-of-self-worth craziness.

TwiLite is entertaining in that it does make a joke out of the teen angst so prevalent in Twilight, though I can't read too much of it at one time, as it does become a bit more redundant than Twilight. If you like a semi-decent parody, I think this is a good book to read over a six-month period - that way you can't get too sick of it.

Yes, this IS a positive review.

As for the shipping/delivery, the book arrived promptly and safely. :)

All fans of Twilight will howl at this book. Incredibly clever and witty, this book is one you just won't be able to put down. A must gift for anybody who is a fan of the series and who enjoys to laugh.

After reading several pages of five star reviews, I was excited to read this parody, expecting something fun and entertaining. I certainly enjoyed poking fun at both the original series and the movies (don't get me wrong Twilight lovers...I enjoyed the books, but I certainly get why a parody of these characters would be in order).

Unfortunately for this book, the presumed attempts at humor are not in the least witty, the alternate storyline falls flat, and the writing is simply very poor indeed.

Once I start a book, I will usually at least see it through to the end regardless of quality. However I gave up on this one after just a few chapters. So make sure you read a sample of this one first...I did't. And unless you read at the level of a fourth grader, in which case you might enjoy the book (although it is for adults in content), that preview will be about all of this "parody" you can take.

I am going to start by saying that I'm a huge fan of the original books - having said that, I think this author hit the nail on the head! If you've read the originals and/or have seen the movie - you will truly appreciate the pure, overwhelming need to parody. I can't say that I've ever laughed out loud at any book....until now! This book is HILARIOUS & RIDICULOUS & TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!

Do yourself a favor & buy this book. Whenever you are having a bad day, you only need to think about the interpretive dance!

Thank you to the author for his hard work on this book - Although, this kind of sarcasm & comedy can only come from someone with a natural talent. Clearly, this author has major talent and I look forward to future works

It was fantastic a nice stab at the series form some one who seems to have enjoyed the original novels. I feel this book has been getting bad reviews (on amazon only) from tweens who are offended the precious Edward was mocked. Make your own opinion and read it yourself. instead of reading uneducated and ill founded reviews open your mind and accept the humor for what it is. It was a realistic take on the series and the obnoxiously "perfect" world that most books fall into. :) read around amazon raters seem to just be stingy you'll notice this allot on most products since most happy customers dont review I felt it appropriate and fair.

I am a twilight fan. I ordered this book after laughing so hard, out loud at the excerpts. This is a very clever and funny take on twilight. I am a fan of both now. Get the book if you want to laugh out loud. It's very funny.

I bought this book because I thought it was supposed to be funny. Instead I found out that this book tries to hard to make you laugh; it really screams laugh here and then you just don't think it's funny at all.
