faked reviews,
This review is from: Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers (Paperback)
I was curious about this book. I noticed how many 5 star reviews it got, started looking at the reviewers and noticed a trend. Although the reviewers almost never seem to have reviewed more than 15 books, they all seemed to have reviewed the same titles. Look for yourself. Click on the reviewers' other reviews. You will see the same books reviewed: Slow Home, Meeting You, Forget Mr. Married, How to get..., Miles Away, Beyond the Beaker, Escaping life's Sting, The Darkness, and anything associated with Palmieri. Are these reviews all the work of some agency for hire that will promote your book on amazon for a fee? I was wondering if the author would explain this.

Spiritual,

This review is from: Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers (Paperback)
This is an excellent book for those who have lost their faith along the way. In Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers, the stories of men who had lost their way and faith only to rediscover it later are shared. I found these stories to be very spiritually uplifting and helped me to discover a renewed belief that we all have a purpose and calling in life. If you know anyone or you yourself are interested in becoming a minister this is the perfect book to read. It would be the perfect book for any Christian who is feeling lost or unsure of their place in this world and is losing faith.

Twice Born Ministers very compelling book,

Twice Born Ministers is a very compelling book, which was suggested by a dear friend of mine that has in his own right become a twice-born minister, you could say. Shoemaker has compiled 12 stories of people who have re-found their faith and moved on to help others repair and grow in their own faith and beliefs. In this day and time, it can be difficult to hold your faith when it seems the world is in total despair around you. This book will give you a new insight and faith.

Very good for people doubting their faith.,

If you ever thought that you were somehow less of a Christian for doubting your faith, this book will put those thoughts at ease. This book talks about ministers that doubted their faith at one point in time. It also explains what they did to get out of that rut. This book is a must read for all people that consider themselves religious.

Twice Born Should Be Read More Than Twice,
This review is from: Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers (Paperback)
So often we look to priests and ministers as people who are 100% certain in their faith. Of course this really isn't the case as these people are just like everyone else. Priests and men and women of the clothe can have crises of confidence just as easily and this book details how 12 ministers might have been on the edge but were able to pull themselves back with God's help, saving people along the way.
This particular book was recommended to me and I'm certainly going to recommend it to others.

found what understanding i was looking for,

I was always looking for an understanding on being twice born. My other major question, does every one should be twice born or only certain people. All my answers are now available for me. The author has given the understanding on how a twice born believer and he or she is also a minister. He or she may not stand in the pulpit and preach, but still they can be a minister in their work or in their kitchen or motherhood. WOW. I could not imagine how well this is placed in our midst with no confusion.

Ministers and Believers,
By Matthew "Matt" (Antioch, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers (Paperback)
I once had an opinion that ministers are far greater than a normal believer. They are all in high statue and believers are one step lower. But, the author has shown us that every believer is a minister for God, and each one has its own calling. Not everyone the same, but every body need to be born again. Born again experience is well explained by the author Tuchy in a very simple and realistic manner. It could be understood by any person who knows simple English.

A beliver is a minister too,
By
This review is from: Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers (Paperback)
Bible does not say only minister should be re-born. Every true christian should have a born again experience. So, when I read the title I thought it is contradicting. But, once I read the book, I understood that the author was trying to say every believer is like a minister who needs to be born again. We are all ministers, in the sense we minister and show our Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. We may not belong to the five fold ministry but, we testify the Lord lives today.

A new take on church and faith,
By
This review is from: Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers (Paperback)
I will attend church again and take away so much more this time. Normally I go to church go through the motions, the same boring readings, take communion and book it. After reading Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers I am acutely aware of everything I have been missing. Even though this book was originially published in 1920 I believe the majority of it holds true to today and my modern times. This is a great book for anyone who has doubts about faith, lost it completely, or falls into temptation every once in a while.

An Enlightening take on faith,
By
This review is from: Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers (Paperback)
This is a very enlightening book. For everyone who thinks ministers always have it all together you need to read this. Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers humanizes ministers and shows us that even they have questions and doubts about faith. Though this book is centered around the loss of faith it is entirely uplifting because the lost later find their way back. It was awesome reading real-life stories about people similar to myself and how they eventually got back to faith, somewhere I want to be. This book was personally inspiring and motivational.
