5.0 out of 5 stars Very Great Read and very relatable
This book brings us back for a visit with the Eatons of PA. Denise and Garrett are old lovers from college who let mistrust and subtefuge by a so called trusted friend who has another family secret sabotage their relationship. I especially enjoyed the internal dialogue that Denise had when her Mother would ask only questions your mother would ask. This novel made me laugh...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected from a Alers novel
While the plot might be good, the book didn't read like a Alers novel. It didn't flow at all. I was very disappointed in this book.

Denise and Garrett are old lovers from college who let mistrust and subtefuge by a so called trusted friend who has another family secret sabotage their relationship. I especially enjoyed the internal dialogue that Denise had when her Mother would ask only questions your mother would ask. This novel made me laugh out loud on several occasions. I really liked the revisits with the other Eatons and really look forward to future Eatons to come. I would like a side bar story on Garrett's mom and her romance, it would give really great explanations for Garrett's experience with his Mother as well. Well written and full of excitment!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Twice The Temptation, September 25, 2010
This review is from: Twice the Temptation (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Rating 4.5

This is the 4th installment in the Eatons series and Rochelle has wrote another great book.

Denise Eaton & Garrett (Rhett) was college sweatheart until one day when she saw a women in her man bed, that broke her heart. Rhett & Denise was the perfect couple they had plan out their life together until she just walk away for Rhett and their life together and Rhett didn't understand until he found out that Denise end up sleeping with his best friend or so he thought, just like Denise thought Rhett was messing around on her.

Now six year later Denise own a day care center who has just received word that her rent on the property will be going up,and while talking with her cousin Tyler Eaton he advise her to try and talk to the person that own the building to see if something can be work out.

Once Denise has secured an appointment with the owner of the building and they finally meet she is so surprise when she see Garrett (Rhett) again. For Garrett this is his revenge against what he think happen between Denise and his best friend. You really have to read the book to find out the twist to this story and find out what happen between six year ago. I tell it will surprise you, buy the book it will be worth it and you get to catch up on the past Eatons and meet some new Eatons

I read this book, and I was very surprised. It was not as good as Ms. Alers previous tales of the Eatons. It seemed kind of jumpy to me, all over the place.

This is another great story about the Eaton family. Denise Eaton runs a day-care business that she built from scratch. She receives mail that informs her that the rent is going up on her building. She calls the company to set up a appointment to discuss why the rent is going up. Her ex-fiance owns the building and wants to bring Denise to her knees for walking out on him 6 years earlier and for (he was told) sleeping with his best friend. Denise never stopped loving him but she didn't trust him because of what she walked in on 6 years earlier or what she thought she walked in on. In the end, the truth finally comes to light from a unexpected source and a long kept secret is revealed. They find that things were not what they believed. Another great story by Rochelle. This series just gets better and better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Second Time Around is the Charm, January 22, 2012
This review is from: Twice the Temptation (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
When I originally started reading I hadn't put two and two together. I had read the other Eaton stories so long ago I didn't have them placed in my mind correctly. But I was happy to see that the put together, independent Denise got her own story. She's a woman after my own heart with the child care center. It has been a dream of mind for as long as I can remember.

And at first with Rhett acting all funny I wasn't sure I was going to like him and then realized first loves are so hard to let go of. Especially when that's the only person you find yourself believing in, beyond yourself. Their college days, what was shared, sounded like heaven. And the twist at the end was unexpected but a pleasant surprise. Thank you Ms. Alers I have enjoyed every single one of the Eaton stories now on to Sweet Destiny...Mia's story.

2.0 out of 5 stars Really Rochelle?, April 14, 2011
This review is from: Twice the Temptation (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
No temptation at all with this book. As an avid fan of this author since the beloved Hideaway series, this was not up to par. Really, after 10 years of not seeing each other, the characters are not only straight back into dating but engaged within a month. The other 3 books in this series handled a plot much better. Scenes were left unfinished. It's like someone kept asking her to write about Denise (since she was present at family functions in the other books) and Ms. Alers threw this together. Like "here you go." I understand, if you collect her books or must read all of them, then go ahead and get it. But, don't expect something great or even good out this story. Part of it could also be that I did not really like the Denise character when she was introduced. Then again, she could have been made into a likeable character.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of time, March 20, 2011
This review is from: Twice the Temptation (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This was awful. For a short book, it was really repetitive. And the plot was just silly. The author should put more effort into her next book.

Cannot understand why this book is getting less than 5 stars - I was hooked from the moment I started reading it - it was a great story and the plot was believable... love all of Rochelle's books - wish her older books were transferred to KINDLE!!! Look forward to reading about the next Eaton.
