The Haunting House is a wildly fun, fast paced, strategy boardgame with a twist. The object is simple, players enter the front door and race to be the first to reach the exit. It's not as easy as it sounds. Half the time the players choose their own path. The other half their paths are chosen randomly by opponents. Additionally, the board elements constantly change as the game progresses. For 2 to 6 players, ages 10 and up. Average game time is 30 minutes. This game was designed by Kerry Breitenstein with all new art by David Aikins.

The Haunting House is a simple race game or, is it? At one time you are picking your own path, at other times it seems someone is picking it for you! Between the twisting halls, trap doors, secret passages and moving exits it's never the same game twice. Pray that you make it through. For 2 to 6 players. Ages 10 and up.

I have this game plus all expansions. I enjoy this game as it isn't a cut throat game like others. So great for anyone who wants a fun family game. My family laughs when we play it and you can make it last as long as you want as You pick where the exits go! You have to use strategy which makes everyone think or use their minds. So good for younger ones as well as keeping older peoples mind in shape! I Love it Best played with all 4 expansions!

i had high hopes for this game but it turned out to be....stupid. you have to keep shuffling the same 10 cards over and over, not very thought out. not a good game overall.

I picked this game up at a local game store to play with my 10 year old nephew. The rules are simple, but it does require thought (and some luck) to get through the maze. With two players, each games lasts 30-45 minutes. If you are looking for a fun game that is family friendly and easy to learn, The Haunting House is certainly worth checking out.
