3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best, December 2, 2002
This review is from: Twilight Children (Deathlands No 21) (Mass Market Paperback)
Same basic plot Ryan and Company land somewhere and discover that al is not as it seems. This is in my opinion a total worthless story, unless of course you like the charecter Mike Brother although I never did.

THOUGH NOT WHAT I CONSIDER ONE OF THE BEST DEATHLAND STORIES IT IS STILL A WORTHWHILE EFFORT.A MAT TRANS LEAP IN THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY TO LONESOME GULCH REMINDS ME OF STEPHEN KING'S SHORT STORY "THE MIST" AND IS ALMOST AS EERIE.ANOTHER JUMP TO A PAST REDOUBT IN LOUISIANA ALSO IS NOTED.ONCE THEY STOP BOUNCING AROUND THEY END UP IN VERMONT THOUGH I THINK AXLER GOT HIS MAP WRONG IN SOME OF HIS REFERENCES.ANYWAYS THE BEST OF THIS STORY IS THE BEGINNING WHICH I HAVE MENTIONED.STILL WORTH IT FOR THE AVID FAN.
