5.0 out of 5 stars Killer Metal Album!!!
Finally, a band from America that isn't afraid to play True Metal. A singer who can actually sing and doesn't just yell into the microphone, or worse yet...rap (yuck!). The songs all tell stories that captivate the listener and bring him on an amazing ride through various worlds. Songs with structures that change and don't remain stagnant throughout, yet flow perfectly...

2.0 out of 5 stars OUT-DATED METAL!
This CD would have been great if it were released in the 80's. I gave it 2 stars-one for the cool cover and one for effort! The majority of my METAL collection is from the 80's but i'm really picky when it comes to adding somethng to it. The sound is just too unrefined and the production is a bit weak. I hope that their next release will be much better than this one. If...

The songs all tell stories that captivate the listener and bring him on an amazing ride through various worlds. Songs with structures that change and don't remain stagnant throughout, yet flow perfectly from one section of the song to the next. And of course, the in-your-face anthom! This is indeed a complete Metal album in my book. Can't wait to hear the next release from this band! ZANDELLE RULES!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars True Metal - A must have!, October 16, 2003

There's not too much negative that you can say about this relatively new metal band. This cd is filled with epic titles and true metal anthems. Whether it's fast paced power metal melodies you want, or simply technically ingenious musical skill and writing talent, this cd is for you. The vocals are true to power metal but still quite unique, though the vocal melodies could use some work. The talents of guitarist duo Maglio and (especially) Durfy are absolutely insane. I believe there is certainly a future for Zandelle in the top Metal scene, and I've heard from my sources that their next album will ABSOLUTELY blow this one away.

First, this is absolutely top notch power metal. Now when I think power metal, I think of two countries, England & Germany. There are of course a couple exceptions, like Manowar or Iced Earth. They have enough of an installed fanbase to continue on and make a living. Zandelle is so refreshing because riught now they are virtually unknown in the broad spectrum of the metal world. Don't be fooled, these guys deliver. This is true heavy metal from American shores. If you want that nu-metal mallrat [garbage], look elsewhere. Zandelle is powerful & majestic heavy metal. George Tsalikis' vocals are wonderful, he has a tremendous voice. The dual guitars of Durfy & Maglio perfectly compliment each other and the drumwork of Delmini never misses a beat. If you are a fan of true metal, check these guys out. They truly deserve the attention and I look forward to, hopefully, many more albums from Zandelle in the future. All hail...

5.0 out of 5 stars Hail Epic Metal, February 5, 2011
This review is from: Twilight on Humanity (Audio CD)
Taking the best brew of Metal Blade, Combat and US Independent metal releases, Zandelle has probably recorded the best true metal CD I have heard of the United States in a very long time. If you are a fan of bands like Helstar, Griffin, Valhalla and Warlord then Zandelle will blow you away.

In one word, the best way to describe this release is "EPIC". These are the kind of heroic metal tracks one should expect from a band such as Manowar. Yet, Zandelle has laid immediate claim to the true metal throne in the United States with this release. George Tsalikis' vocals are a perfect match for this style. He has a powerful voice with a range that allows him to hit the peaks and valleys without sounding forced or strained. The dual guitars of T.W. Durfy and Anthony Maglio perfectly compliment each other whether trading riffs or or creating a dual wall of sonic violence. The blood-shedding beats from Bob Delmini thunder below the surface in true metal spirit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Twilight for Zandelle, July 10, 2009
This review is from: Twilight on Humanity (Audio CD)
Maybe I'm biased because Zandelle front man, George, is my friend. I usually watch them live, which is why it took me so long to finally buy the CD. This band is as great live as they are on the CD, but some songs they don't always play live anymore, especially with two newer albums to choose from. Zandelle has a unique metal style of their own, but if you like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Dream Theater and Queensryche, you won't be disappointed. Twilight is the first of Zandelle's CD's and they get better in their next album, Vengeance Rising and the new release Flames of Rage.

4.0 out of 5 stars Metal Mania!, June 27, 2004

Now THIS is METAL! Pure unadulterated Power Metal at it's finest, Zandelle is a clever cross between old Queensryche, Fates Warning and Helloween. Also, a lean towards the newer Iced Earth type power/speed can be heard. Excellent dual guitar work with a "beauty and the beast" edge to the solos. Soaring vocals and competent drumming also round out this excellent album. My only gripe is the production. Not nearly as bad as "killing is my business...") but it could be a lot better. A definite must for all fans of TRUE METAL! I can't wait to hear their next release.

Zandelle...a fresh Metal band that blends the sounds of 80's heavy metal with today's newer bands. It's a must have for true metal fans.. The more I lisen to this CD the more I love it. It's tight, clean and together and the band is as good live as on CD..I've had the pleasure to see them perform live and look forward to their next release.

4.0 out of 5 stars Blown out of the water, or tossed down the drain?, March 10, 2003

Well, I've only heard three songs from "Twilight on Humanity", and after hearing only three songs I feel as a metal fan that it is usually not enough insight to say anything good or bad. This is because I mean what if I ran into three great songs that blew me away, and the rest were ... so I would have a too biased opinion same if it were the other way around. But, after listening to the three songs, I, for the first time, felt confident enough to give a review on a band/album. I think if Zandelle keeps this up they could easily be on of the tops groups in this type of music. I don't really know how much the North American market is looking for such bands, with the fantasy trips and all but if I may say I think, if they're not already, they would be great in Europe. I've been out of it for a while now...So, I don't really know the current progress of any bands. So, saying all this, I can't wait to get my greedy little hands on "Twilight on Humanity".
