5.0 out of 5 stars Steamy! Hot! Scorching! Scintillating!
I was so excited to get this collection of erotica by some of the best writers in today's fiction. I recently read another book of erotica and was solely disappointed because that particular book lacked heat and didn't fit my definition of erotica.

This book of eroticism will hold your attention from the opening by Zane to the very last story by Tracey Price-Thompson...

1.0 out of 5 stars It's not what you think
The subtitle on the book cover is "AFRICAN AMERICAN EROTICA". I would be equally digusted if I purchased a book with a subtitle "CAUCASIAN EROTICA". In my opinion, good erotica is erotic, why should a book be titled based on the race of the subjects. I am returning my purchased copy... as it was NOT what I expected and that disappointed me.

I was so excited to get this collection of erotica by some of the best writers in today's fiction. I recently read another book of erotica and was solely disappointed because that particular book lacked heat and didn't fit my definition of erotica.

This book of eroticism will hold your attention from the opening by Zane to the very last story by Tracey Price-Thompson. This book was hot. Almost all the stories involved your five senses, and erotica should caress each of your senses and provide a purely sexual charge. This book was not a disappointment.

Some of the stand out stories were: Bobby Q's Sauce by Lolita Files; Daydreaming at Night by Joylynn M. Jossell; Fuller, Deeper, Smoother by Timmothy McCann (one of personal favorites); Watering Cherry's Garden by William Frederick Cooper; Possessive Passion by Jacquie Bamberg Moore; and Idiot by Michael Presley.

Each is a story where erotic possession evolves into some very stimulating sexual encounters. Some of the stories have twists and other will make you laugh but they will all make you sigh.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whew!, December 9, 2002

The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers (RAWSISTAZ.com and BlackBookReviews.net) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Twilight Moods (Paperback)
Twilight Moods could have easily been titled Moods
because whether it was twilight, midnight or daylight
this book shares every mood imaginable and I think
someone pulled in a few that were hanging on the edge
of the imagination.

I've heard readers say a book grabbed them and wouldn't
let go, well when this one grabs you, you might not want
to be let go. This collection of 18 erotic stories from
an eclectic mix of writers range in length from 9 to 32
pages. Start at any point in the book because each of the
stories is erotic, sensual, explosive, seductive and hot.
The selections are as plentiful and as enjoyable as a
buffet meal in a favorite restaurant. From the first bite
to the last, every morsel can be savored as the meal
climaxes with a dessert that is beyond the imagination.
Don't wait to get in a mood, because this book will put
you in one and keep you there for a good while.

I take my hat off to Ms. Green and all of the authors
involved in producing a book of well written eroctic
musings. This is an enchanting journey into an African
American Erotic forest. An arousing in your face read.
(More like a 4.5)

5.0 out of 5 stars Steamy Hot piece of literature!!!, October 21, 2002

Twilight moods is off the chain! I just love the diversity of erotica that's in the collection. Timm McCann really heated it up in "Fuller, Smoother and Deeper." and I loved the hunger depicted in Courtney Parker's "Holding It Down..." "Anniversary", by Rochelle Alers was cool, as was Nancey Flowers Wilson's "Moving Day." But my favorite story was "Watering Cherry's Garden" by William Fredrick Cooper. I never knew what my husband saw in those strip clubs. I guess I got some work to do to compete with Cherry!!

Great story. Great book. More, More, More!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot & Wet . ., October 11, 2002

Lolita Files had my mouth watering for "Bobby Q's Sauce", I was feeling "Fuller, Deeper, Smoother" from Timm Mcann, and got a big Surprise from Leone D'Mitrienne Williams' "Jacques in the Box". These are just a few of the stories that had me calling my man for a "lunch break" for the last few days. This collection of erotica was done with class, yet reached the inner [side] in me. Twilight Moods definitely hit the spot!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wets your appetite among other things!, October 3, 2003
By
This review is from: Twilight Moods (Paperback)
I picked this book up on a whim and let me tell you, I've referred it to three other friends. This is not a book that you want to lend to your friends. You will want to read some of these stories over and over again. ...

I especially liked the story, Watering Cherry's Garden. It was pleasing and tiltillating. William Fredrick Cooper is goooooood! I liked the twist at the end, and speaking of Twist, that story was equally as good. Last, Holdin' It Down by Courtney Parker had the real surprise ending. There were a couple of stories with surprise endings, and I enjoyed them all. I look forward to reading more stories by these authors. There were more tantalizing stories,...

Twilight Moods is the best [type of book] book I've read yet. It definitely serves its purpose in the bedroom and I'm sure my partner feels the same way. I hope once this book is worn out, I can purchase a Twilight Moods Part II.

Five-Five

4.0 out of 5 stars Bedtime Stories, April 6, 2003
This review is from: Twilight Moods (Paperback)
A diverse group of some of the most sought after fiction writers and the not so well known submit their best erotic work to make Twilight Moods, edited by Jossel Flowers Green, a book that will sit on my nightstand for bedtime reading pleasure for a long time to come. Each author brings their own uniqueness to the pages as they offer up stories like Possessive Passion by Jacquie Bamberg Moore and the sensual Fuller, Deeper, Smoother by Timmothy McCann and some finger licking good Bobby's Q's Sauce by Lolita Files. I can go on and on cause all the stories can be considered a favorite. There were no stories that I can say I really disliked.

Looking for a flavor to spice up your nights? Try Twilight Moods you will be sure to find something that will heat things up.

I am a huge fan of erotica. This one rates high in my collection. It has the right mix. Part spicy, part sensual, with a little dash of love and tenderness. Good for you Jossel
Flowers Green! Keep them coming.
