Ever since my very first veiwing of a Twilight Zone I have been simply and utterly bound by its intruiging and usually ironic plots. I do not beleive there has been a single episode of this series of which I did not thoroughly enjoy. With this VHS gift set I now have the ability to watch all the classic episodes, such as "Time Enough at Last" and "Terror at 20,000 Feet". While a great gift set, I would however recommend the DVD 40th anniversary set being released in September of 2000. This set will have better video\audio quality and contain a total of 19 episodes. On the other hand, if you wish to simply have a small collection of the best of the twilight zone for a minimal cost (30 instead of 70$ for the dvd) I strongly reccomend the purchase of this item, but beware....as you enter the Twilight Zone.

No sci-fi television program can match the Twilight Zone and no writing comes close to Rod Serling. Without Serling, we would have had no Stephen King, John Saul or Dean Koontz. This is an excellent collection of Twilight Zone shows. Of course, there are so many excellent episodes to choose from that could have been included here. However, shop Amazon.com for more Twilight Zone video tapes and DVDs. Others not to miss include the episodes starring William Shatner, Dean Stockwell and Cliff Robertson. It is unfortunate, though, that one classic episode is still not available on video (at least, at the time of this writing) - that episode being "Nightmare On Elm Street." If you don't know what Twilight Zone to buy first, get this 3-tape collection. It's a great starter set. Excellent!!

In then summer of 2000 I re-discovered this classic TV show and needless to say I bought this box set. This set has 6 great episodes. Since, then I have purchased all the TZ DVDs. I'm really surprised they never made a second VHS gift set. I would have choosed It's a Good Life, The Howling Man, The Masks, Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, Midnight Sun, and The Silence as its selections. However, there are soooooo many great TZ episodes.
