Twilley still rocks me!,
This review is from: Twilley & Scuba Divers (Reis) (Audio CD)
Classic Twilley that still makes my heart throb and my feet want to dance! If you love rock and roll (think Elvis Presley and his blue suede shoes) you will love Dwight. Tasty guitar licks and a great rhythm section keeps these tunes moving. And don't forget about the ballads. Dwight has a voice that melts me innards! I say he is still hot after all these years.

Don't let it slip away. Dwight Twilley/Phil Seymour doing some rockabilly/pop stuff from the midwest. Phil Pitcock IV on lead. Put's Tom Petty to task and he's good. Don't settle on just this, there is much much more.

After waiting seemingly a million years for these 2 classic Twilley albums to finally see the light of day on compact disc, it turned out to be a MAJOR letdown. Anyone familiar with the original vinyl issues of both these great albums will be wondering where the guitars all went. SCUBA DIVERS is most egregiously lacking in guitar. I even addressed this sad situation with DT himself, via email, to no avail. It is what it is. So until I pay a professional to do a needle-drop on my unplayed Japanese vinyl pressing, this will have to do. Better than nothing? I'm not so sure.... Don't miss Susan Cowsills OUTSTANDING backing vocals though - real treasure. Dwight had Phil, then Susie - and it's never been that good since!
