I found the solution to the lose fit of the "Twin Draft Guard"!!!
I was having the same problem as a few others about the sloppy fit of this item.
Solution: I went to Lowes and bought one ¾ inch PVC pipe insulation FOAM.
This foam is of the stiff kind (while holding the middle of the foam insulation, both ends should stick out. If when holding the foam insulation both ends flop down, then you've got the wrong foam insulation.) and should cost no more than a $1.30.
Make sure you get the uncut version of this pipe insulation foam. This foam is a bit wider than the foam that comes with the "Twin Draft Guard" (TDG).
One side of the foam insulation slipped into the TDG reasonable but the other side I had to massage it in (a little difficult). That alone made it go from a sloppy fit to a nice snug-to-tight fit.
Now, to stop it from sliding off the door when I open the door between the hallway and room... I put a thumbtack at the very end of the TDG under the door.
Perfect! It's now snug and doesn't slide off the door when opening or closing the door.
Hopefully this will help others.
Further, the styrofoam tube is bent into a circl for mailing, and once installed the styrofoam naturally curves upward, away from the gap between the door and the frame, again defeating the purpose.
Finally: My guess is that there's around 40-50 cents worth of material in this item. Think twice before you buy this item.
HOWEVER, I'm pleased to report that "Get Organized" (the Amazon merchant that sells this item) promptly issued me a refund.
First of all, I bought the original Twin Draft Guard a few months ago and it was very poor-fitting around our front door....it was floppy, and made of thin, cheap fabric. I kept it at the door all this time and just figured it was better than nothing. For these reasons, I rate the original version 1 star.
The other day my Mother-in-Law recently put a draft guard on her front door and I commented how nicely it fit on the door. The fabric was a sturdy twill and the insulating tubes were larger and fit snugger than ours....it turns out she bought the Twin Draft Guard Extreme!
I went out today and bought the Extreme version and it is a 100% improvement from the original Twin Draft Guard. It fits great and snug under the door and has the nicer twill fabric. Don't Buy the Original, Buy the EXTREME! This sturdier version definitely earns a better rating.
It's just a shame the original is such a poor product, especially since it's advertised to fit tightly around your door, when in reality, it is pretty awful! Only buy the Extreme version, otherwise, save your money.
