5.0 out of 5 stars Dave, please give us the DVD!
All I have to say is, where's the DVD? The series represents one of David Lynch's best storylines ever. It raises the bar for television. He gives the audience the benefit of the doubt, and never dumbs it down.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Series Is Great--the VHS Tapes Are Unwatchable!
BEWARE!! I know that it's going to be hard to wait for the rest of the episodes to be released to DVD (especially if you've already purchased and watched the first seven episodes on DVD), but trust me, wait for DVD. 1.0 out of 5 stars The Series Is Great--the VHS Tapes Are Unwatchable!, October 21, 2002
This review is from: Twin Peaks - Episodes 10-14 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
BEWARE!! I know that it's going to be hard to wait for the rest of the episodes to be released to DVD (especially if you've already purchased and watched the first seven episodes on DVD), but trust me, wait for DVD. You'll end up saving yourself a lot of time and energy. The VHS tapes are in deplorable condition--the sound goes in and out, the screen is fuzzy and jumps, and it's difficult to make out what is going on. Don't try to struggle through it--just wait for it to come out on DVD and watch it in good condition. You'll be glad you did, especially when you come across the more "shocking" and exciting scenes in episodes 10-14.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enchanting and mind melting, March 17, 2000

If you see one you have to see them all. The best series ever. It draws you in and welcomes you to the beautiful world of David Lynch and Laura Palmer. It is dramatic, quirky and seductive. Once you start watching you'll never want to stop. Fire Walk with Me (the prequel to the series) is also wonderful because you get a chance to meet Laura Palmer and know her in all her characters glory. Makes you wish that Sheryl Lee would have gotten more time in the limelight. She puts on an excellent performance. I recommend watching the series first. The soundtracks for both the series and the film are absolutely hypnotic and I recommend them both. If you are looking for an alternate reality, welcome to mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars TWIN PEAKS EPISODES 1-29 (TV SERIES), July 12, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Twin Peaks - Episodes 10-14 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I recently bought the entire series of Twin Peaks videos, which is episodes 1-29. Each tape is 245 minutes and contains about 4 or 5 episodes each. Twin Peaks is taped from its original television ABC broadcast. Twin Peaks' collection is simply the best and I'd like to thank AMAZON.

YOU WILL KNOW WHO KILLED LAURA. YOU WILL BE HOPELESSLY LOST IN THE TANGLED WEB THAT DAVID LYNCH WEAVES. YOU WILL ALSO SUFFER THROUGH ONE OF THE MOST DELIBERATELY VIOLENT SCENES EVER SHOT FOR TELEVISION.FOR A SHOW THAT "LIVED INSIDE A DREAM", TP'S VIOLENCE SEEMS ALL TOO REAL IN THIS DAY AND AGE.THIS SHOW WAS AHEAD OF ITS TIME. I CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE WANTED TO WATCH "HUNTER" OR WHATEVER INSTEAD OF THIS. IT IS GROUNDBREAKING TELEVISION. NOW, BRING ON THE DVD! COMMENTS WELCOME

5.0 out of 5 stars The Most Original TV Show, May 21, 2000

There is a scene in ep.14 (directed by Lynch) that gives me the creeps. It`s the scene when the killer kills Sheryl Lee as Maddy. Without any doubt it is the most shocking and perverse scene that was ever filmed for T.V.
