I bought this bed for one of my children. They previously had a loft platform bed, so I was able to use the same mattress. It was easy to assemble and easy to stain. It is very good and sturdy. It's all wood, no particle board here. This bed will last a long time.

The reason I bought this was because I wanted to stain the bed in the color of my choice instead of trying to match colors in the stores or online. Cherry is different for different manufacturers, it seems. It was fairly simple to put together even though they gave illustrations for the full size bed.

I like that this is made of solid wood, it's sturdy and it really looks nice now that I've spruced it up with some color.

I bought this for my 3 year old and the height is a little higher than I'd like normally, but it will serve her very well and last her through the years.

Shipping was fast (but an email letting me know it was shipped with shipping numbers would have been nice) and it was not overly expensive to ship.

Over all, I'm very happy with this bed and the vender.

Bought two of these beds. Very easy to put together. If something doesn't line up right or if the screw holes don't appear to be in the right place, then you need to turn one of the parts over or you have the wrong piece. In particular, the center support only goes in smoothly one way. I couldn't believe turning it would make a difference, but it did. The bed is pine, so it is a soft wood with some knots and imperfections, but it shined up beautifully with a Minwax combination stain and polyurethane. Now I have a smooth, glossy finish. The bed is plenty high and no more need for costly mattresses! I also put four of the matching pull-out drawers underneath. You can use four drawers even if your bed has one side against the wall by using some small C clamps from any hardware store to clamp the drawers into sets of two, so that when you pull the one in the front, the back one comes out too.

This was really an easy purchase to make. The quality and price are outstanding, the online description was accurate and helpful, and ordering was fast and easy.

I received my Queen bed frame 2 days early, despite a major snow storm and icy conditions on roads in our area.

I also like that this company put a lot of thought into how they could build a bed frame that is easy to set up, strong and durable, and inexpensive to ship. Plus, the customer has the option to color it to match existing furniture or decor.

As a note of interest, the shipping cost is better than any "discount" furniture seller online that I've had to deal with in the last couple of years... some sell the furniture at a discount, but then jack up the shipping costs.

If I need to buy another bed frame, I'm going to buy another one of these!

I'm also considering purchasing the under-bed drawers that they make... much better that shoving stuff under the bed, and if they are the same quality as the bed, I'll be very happy.
(2) Underbed Storage Drawers

I only wish the bed had 1 to 2 inch side rails to help keep the mattress from sliding off. It's not that critical, but it makes it hard to keep the bottom sheet from sliding up when the mattress slides around on the platform. I'm considering some kind of strap system for the bottom corners to help keep the mattress from moving.

I research every big purchase I make and thus spent several hours researching beds. My 3 year old was ready to get out of his crib. Beds were expensive and many seemed to be garbage in the few hundred dollar area. I decided to go with pine because it is the cheapest while still maintaining strength. I was looking for a no frills bed with quality and strength for a 3 year old. No easy task but this bed meets those standards. To sum up this bed and purchase:
1. solid wood, no pressboard junk
2. just enough style with a basic headboard that looks good
3. supposed to arrive in 2 weeks, came in 4 days very cheap shipping cost
4. called seller because of 2 cracked slat boards, very helpful and sent out replacement boards without question
5. easy to stain. one coat of water based stain and 2 coats of acrylic protector
6. easy to put together, about a half hour with only 2 allen wrenches both included
7. the kid loves it

This bed is so solid and so beautiful. The construction is excellent, and it is as attractive and well finished in the parts that show as in the ones that don't. After we ordered one for my son, his friend ordered one, too. They never order anything online, because they are low tech and understandably worried about security, so they took a day off work, went to several different furniture stores, and couldn't find anything even remotely close at that price point THEN they came home and ordered it online. After that, his dad ordered one for him when he sleeps over at dad's. And the list grows....we may order one soon in a queen for our master suite. We ordered it unfinished, because he likes the raw wood look, but his friend has the finished one in cherry and it's well worth the small fee.

I bought a full-size one. It is easy to assemble this bed. I just spent one hour to assemble this bed from parts.

I used it as a guest bed. But if you are taller than 6 feet, this full size bed may be not long enough for you.

This is a great value and seems to be very sturdy; I used three coats of Spar marine polyurethane on mine and it looks great. I am very pleased with this product.

The bed arrived 5 days after we ordered it. The directions were simple enough that our 7 and 8 year old sons were able to read the directions and figure out what to do. We assembled the bed and matching drawers in about an hour (and this was with young children helping). The product arrived ready for staining (the only surface prep needed was to wipe it down after assembly), and that is our next project for this weekend. We will be ordering another of these beds for the guest room!
