Review

Intertwining illusiion and reality, using highly descriptive prose and poetry, the book takes you into a world of fantasy with mythical beings. --Stephen Melissas Apothecary Co.

A very unusual story, creative and unique which can shift one into an experience of the mythic realm.. The twin Soul is something everyone years for, whether they know it or not. --Robert Krajenke Author: Edgar Cayce's Story of the Old Testament

The clue to this mini-masterwork's theme lies in its dedication: This book is dedicated to the Edgar Cayce Readings which confirmed my expereinces and memories as truth. Through an intimate tale so vivid you can see, taste, smell and feel it, Joan Clarke reveals her odssey from Virginia to California and deep into Mexico in quest of reunion with her beloved twin soul. As she dreams her way through edenlike surroundings, she finds herself in the presence of a male being she calls the Myan who seems to dog her heels and drag her down. Although the manuscript was written many years ago ... Big Joan, my higher self who has been speaking to me since childhood, said, Keep it. Treasure it. Enlarge it. For it rreveals a deep inner message filled with higher truth that will transform. A few years later Joan Clarke became involved with the Edgar Cayce Readings which tell of a prehistoric period in which man and animals lived together as brothers. She states, Man and animals were actually enjoined to the point of being the half-human and animal beings described as mermaids, unicorns, centaurs, and satyrs in folklore and mythology. So, who--what--was her mysterious mythical Myan? To find the startling truth, read the book! --Wanda Sue Parrott Amy Kitchener's Angels Without Wings Foundation

A beautiful vision of a book, that takes you back to our origins as beings of Light before the time of density and separation. Written with poetry and lyrical prose, though it reads as a story or fictional narrative, it feels both experiential and a remembrance of an eternal truth and state of being. As I read it, it echoed some of my own truths and inner memories.

Joan Clarke is a scholar of the Edgar Cayce materials and has been researching Edgar Cayce readings since the 1960's. The book is referenced throughout with various readings by Edgar Cayce, and also the author gives a good foundational background in the beginning of the book of the various cultures and traditions throughout history that taught the concept of the twin soul or divine complement. She also mentions artists and writers and musicians who covered the concept in their work and in their lives, such as Plato, Dante, Robert and Clara Schumann, Wagner, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Marie Corelli, and Robert and Elizabeth Browning to name only a few. For those who are new to the concept of the twin soul, the first pages of the book will give them a background to build on.

Twin Soul Separation tells the story of the narrator and her Other Self, and the journey they shared. The first part of the book explores the journey of the narrator while with her twin soul, and the communion and life they share in what feels like Higher Realms and dimensions. There is a beautiful vision or dream of being in a learning center that reminded me of the great library of Atlantis. It also explores the fact that in the beginning we were not separated into male and female genders, but were androgynous and both in one, with male and female polarities.

The author describes a physical, emotional, and spiritual journey in delightfully poetic language that also holds the light of Edgar Cayce's works. This book really helped me see the idea of twin souls and the Higher Self in a very creative and meaningful way. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to learn more about life, death, and self.

This is such an amazing book. As I was reading it, I could almost see this on a movie screen, the way the author described every movement, every thought, every color, it was like a kaleidoscope of beautiful words. The thought entered my mind how beautiful it would be on screen, as a short story, but how could special effects do it justice? Maybe an animated story would work.
A lovely story, written with such soul, a very visual book, and a wonderful message about giving.

The book is a lovely book but, unfortunately, Amazon packaged it in an oversized envelope that was insufficiently padded and the book swam around in it and the spine and cover were severely bent. I took pictures of it and sent it to them but I never even got the courtesy of a response. To send it back would be too costly as I live abroad but a little courtesy in the form of "I'm Sorry" would have gone a long way. If I could have I'd give Amazon -1 stars for customer service!
