He is a vampire. Alexis is forced to make a decision from which there is no turning back. - Will she deny this newly discovered heritage, or embrace it.

Praise
Like a beautifully composed piano composition, Twin Souls connects with readers - presenting a vampire novel that makes them question who the real monsters are.
-Booknut 101

It can be difficult to write about vampires after twilight since it became such a big hit so everyone who have read the books will compare them to other books in the same genre unless you come up with something unique. I really think Poe did that here!
-Cecilia, Rather Barefoot than Bookless

I had to stop reading halfway through to check and make sure there would be a sequel as I didn't want this to be the end of Alexis's story! Thankfully there will be one coming soon. I can't wait to read it too!

The love story is great but perhaps a little fast in it's pace. RatherBarefootThanBookless  |  7 reviewers made a similar statement

4.0 out of 5 stars An awesome read that I highly recommend! July 8, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This was an amazing read and it was such a close 5 star rating but It wasn't quite that good so I will give it 4.5 stars.

First I need to say that yes part of the book reminded me of twilight. But Poe really made this her own story and even though a few things reminded me of twilight she made it her own abd she did it good! I would say that it can be difficult to write about vampires after twilight since it bacame such a big hit so everyone who have read the books will compare them to other books in the same genre unless you come up with somrthing uniqe.

In a way Poe really did something different with this book!

I love the story between Alex and Salem! They are both intruiging characters and Salem does have that mysterious vibe about him that just makes you love him more! Alex is a strong female but she is not aware of it but when she comes to terms with what she is by blood and when she sort of accept it she aslo finds her strength!

The love story is great but perhaps a little fast in it's pace. Everything happens so quickly. Meeting - falling in love - moving in ...... A little fast but perhaps That was how it had to be for the story!

I loved this one! It is a mix between Twilight and Vampire academy but with it's own unique style! An awesome read that I highly recommend

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Read. July 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
While the pacing of the story seemed to go very quickly and all the actions seemed a bit rushed, I think that the story itself was interesting. I found the characters to be realistic, and rounded. There was a touch of romance, a nice change from immediate sex, adventure and the paranormal. What more can you ask from a story!

An 18 year old would behave very much like Alexis did, everything in life is done 'right now', so, though I felt the falling in love was rushed, perhaps viewed from the 18 yr old viewpoint, it isn't so unusual.

I enjoyed Twin Souls (Nevermore, Book 1) and will look for others by Ms. Poe.

Very Twilight-ish. The ending was disappointing. Anti-climatic. She never really became a vampire Hunter or made the decision not to be one. Read more
