Great stroller!, February 7, 2005
This review is from: Twin Swift Stroller -Navy w/ Mesh Basket (Toy)
Well I did a lot of online research, read every review on every site I could find about strollers. I narrowed my search down to a couple strollers:
1. Peg Perago Aria side by side
2. Maclaren
3. Duorider by graco
The Aria was very very pricey, since this was my 5th stroller purchase since my now 3 year old daugther was born, I could not justify spending more than $350 on this stroller.
The Maclaren had some negative reviews and seemed so bulky when I saw it in the store.
The Duorider seemed like a great choice but no cupholders, and it was wider than this stroller which gave me some pause on purchasing that one. Plus I have a tandem graco the duoglider which is a beast - heavy, hard to control and just a real pain so that kind of turned me off to graco.
So I chose this very stroller for the following reasons:
1. Price (compared to peg perago and maclaren)
2. Slimmer than all other side by sides, good for store and doorway navagation.
3. Baskets under stroller, need when shopping with two little ones.
4. Reclining seats
Pros:
It's kind of on the heavy side but being able to fold it so small makes up for that. It could easily fit into a car trunk, I have a truck but was still looking for something that folded up smaller and didn't take up the whole back.
My girls love being able to sit next to one another. Slim and able to navagate the isles in the local stores.
Cons:
I wish it had a snack tray for each of the kids and a cup holder as well but the strollers with that feature had other things I did not like about them which ruled them out.
The basket is a mesh which does not seem like it will hold anything heavy.
I got this stroller for $185 so I am a little surprised that babiesrus is charging so much for it, then you also have to pay the over sized shipping fee on top of the $199. I only paid a flat shipping rate and that was included in the $185 on babyage.com. I got the stroller very quickly as well.
It was all put together except for the hood which was easy to attach. I think it will take awhile to get used to opening and closing it but that can be said with any new product.
We were really looking for a quality stroller that will not take up much space when we drive across country or when we want to put groceries in our truck (expedition). This stroller fits the bill.

THOUGHT I'D HATE IT... I LLLLLOOOOOOOVE IT!, August 13, 2004
This review is from: Twin Swift Stroller -Navy w/ Mesh Basket (Toy)
I bought this stroller recently to replace my heavier than heavy double Graco travel system stroller. I am pretty picky about strollers and sort of expected to be disappointed. I opened the box, unfolded the stroller and still thought I'd be disappointed. Even after reading the directions - how to use the canopies, how to unfold and fold - I thought I wouldn't end up liking it. I LOVE IT! This stroller is not flimsy like a cheap umbrella stroller. The handles are nice and tall. The grips are comfortable. I have no trouble steering with one hand if I need to. The seats are comfortable. The canopies are large enough to shade from the sun. I will say that some of the construction seems sort of primitive (canopies and seat reclining), but it's only because I got used to a stroller that folded with a push of a button. It would be like going from a car that has electric windows to having to roll them down manually - not that big of a deal and I'm already used to the change and I've used it about twice so far. Unfolding and folding are no big deal as long as you read the directions and do a few practice tries. It folds down pretty small for a double stroller and it's a better deal $$$. It's not too heavy... under 30lb. The ride is smooth. Be sure to have all wheels unlocked though. You do have to buy a separate attachable cup holder for yourself and for your child. I sort of like the fact that there is no front bar on the seats. It's great at the zoo when my son wants to get in and out and look at the animals... and if I don't want him getting out, I just strap him in.

Great Stroller for a Great Price!, June 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Twin Swift Stroller -Navy w/ Mesh Basket (Toy)
I am so pleased with this stroller! It is hard to find in real life, so I had to order it sight unseen online and have been pleasantly surprized.
I love the fabric, it is classy and stain resistant so it won't absorb spills, yet it is still very soft for the little guys. It moves really well, and handles my four year old's weight with out even wincing, plus it is easy to push even with a four year old in one side and a one year old in the other.
The 5 point harness feels very secure.
The recline is great, it has a fully upright position (my one year old is very cozy, it is angled great for sitting unlike some of his other strollers), and it also has 3 different recline positions. The lowest recline is very low and I will feel perfectly comfortable putting an infant in the stroller at the lowest recline. It is somewhat heavy, but it does fold up to the size of about a golf bag, very nice for a double. It isn't unmanagable by any means. It takes a few times to get used to the fold, but I'm sure with more time and use I'll be an old pro!
The hoods are large and very sturdy and the peekabo windo is situated so that if the seat is reclined you can see baby without having to have the hood completely extended, very useful (that always bugged me about my graco).
The baskets are each big enough to hold a reasonably sized diaper bag, plus you can hang some bags on the handles if you'd like. There is nothing tippy about this stroller!
The only disadvantage for me is that it doesn't have a parent cup holder, so I'll have to find one to add on.
I am confident that this stroller will serve us for the long run, and grow with my boys. Deffinately consider this stroller before you spend atleast $100 more on one of it's competitors.
