Purchased this bed plus the dresser and nightstand. Arrived quickly. Took 2 of us approximately 4 hours to put to together all 3 pieces of furniture, but the instructions were clear. True, there were some fumes the first day it was put together..but it had been tightly packed in boxes for who knows how long? So I waited 2 day to put mattresses and bedding on it. By then the smell was completely gone. I think the beds are gorgeous, so similar to the mission style Pottery Barn Kids set I love. We are so happy with these beds that we will be ordering a second set plus furniture for our beach house.

This bunk bed set is worth every penny! It took us a little while to assemble it and we mixed up the rails because we didn't realize that there was a difference, until the end, of course. But, we did a little homemade modification and it worked fine. If you get this set, be sure to read through all the directions and look for the holes for the top bunk sides. Once assembled, it is rugged, and it looks very nice--it has a nice finish.

Nice, well built bunk bed. The lacquer smelled for a week or two, but overall I was pleased with the cost and quality of the bunk bed. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a sturdy and well built bunk bed. The cost of this bunk bed was at least 1/2 the cost of comparable bunk beds. The bed took a couple of hours to put together.

I think this is a fabulous deal for the money. My only complaint is that the slats that support the mattress are not strong enough and 3 of them broke within 1 month. Easy fix since you can replace them pretty easily. The actual bed is very sturdy and looks nice.

well when i received the bed.i was over welmed with all the screws and stuff but it was easy to put together.my kids where very happy and proud of me because they never seen me put something together so big before.and i wasnt even sweaten.lol.i am very happy with the bunkbeds and my family is to thank you.

Takes two people and a cordless screw driver for easiest assembly. Quite sturdy and safe. The lacker fumes were gone in a couple days. My children love it.

I would suggest putting the bed together as soon as you unpack it, just to make sure the difference in humidity between your place and wherever the bed was made does not warp the wood. It is solid wood after all, every part of it.

This Mission Style Bunk Bed in White with the drawers looks gret once it is complete. The assembly of this unit was 100% not complete. I recieved boxes with the stiles and rails dry fit with zero glue. No glue made for a very very wobbly bed so I took both the foot boards and head boards completely apart to complete the factory assembly. The fumes are still very apperent, I bought an air purifier to put in the room just to ease some of my concerns of the fumes, 3 weeks later and I can still smell it if I get close. The cross slats under the mattresses are very week, my 9 yr old 65 lb daughter sleeps on it and if she sits in one spot she is affraid of breaking a slat. The drawers are very big and roll decent once i trimmed a 1/2 inch off the bottom of the drwaer face because it drags on the carpet. I am pretty sure this unit with the bottle of glue I put into it and the iar freshener cost me another $125.00 ontop of the price i paid. I wish i had just got one from the local furniture store. Same cost way less headache and fumes. To be fair I never called the company to complain because there was nothing they could do to fix it right?

Good price, solid structure, easy assembling, no complaint. When it comes to off gassing -- all I want to do is to throw it out. But I can not, too big for the door. Kicking myself for being cheap. Emailed them several times. Getting answers but not very helpful/relevant. I don't think their customer service knows about the paint either. Tried everything to get rid of the paint odor. Thinking of the health hazard on the kids... Therefore it occupied a room for almost a year now and no one is sleeping in there. But windows keep open 24x7, no matter what season. Hope this thing won't get us any cancer...
