I really like the TwinLab Amino Fuel for a quick and convenient protein boost, and prefer it over any of the competing products I've seen, for two reasons: The taste, which reminds me of orange-juice concentrate and honey, is very easy on the palate. Competing products tend to have overpowering, sickly sweet or gamy flavors which are hard to swallow after awhile. The amount of amino acids per serving is much higher than most, for a greater net gain for less consumed.

I love it. Best taste ever. IMHO aminos should be taken either before or during a heavy workout to help prevent muscle loss and enhance recovery. As an extreme athlete working out up to 4 hours daily I need to do everything I can to aid recovery. Through experimentation, I feel aminos are on the essential list. YMMV
