This machine is amazing. Set up the tripod with the arrow pointing south and reasonably level. With the hand held, scan the planets. Select the moon. Hit enter. The telescope rotates to the moon or close to it. Look through the eyepiece and use the hand held to place the moon directly in the center of the eye piece. Then hit synchronize. It will stay on the moon all night. If you want to look at stars set it up on Venus. The resolution for accuracy is better on Venus than the moon because the moon is so big. Just amazing as it tracks the object you are looking at.
