I've had a cup of this tea every morning for the past 5 years. It's delicious, and gently wakes me up. Thanks to Amazon, I have no problems keeping a steady supply of this nectar in my cupboard.

Breakfast Tea that is more contemplative than explosive,

Some folks believe that true "breakfast teas" have to grab you by the collar and throw you out of the front door rarin' to go. This is not the tea for those holding this opinion. Rather, this is a more sedate tea to brew up and then engage in contemplation as you slowly enjoy it at any time of the day--including breakfast. Its rich flavor, while not overpowering or particularly robust, just strikes the right tone at any time of the day. A couple of incidental points. I am not sure the individual tea bag packaging is as effective as say that of Bigelow with its internal second layer of protection. Also, if you order the large shipments available on Amazon, you must give thought to where you will store such a extensive supply of tea bags. I keep the long-term bunch in the fridge; the more immediately to-be-used in a handy cupboard in a plastic freezer bag. This seems to work ok and keep them fresh.

Highly drinkable,

Twinings was founded in London, England in 1706, and has a long and respected tradition of producing only the finest of teas. English Breakfast tea is a mixture of black teas from Sri Lanka, which are blended to produce a smooth yet flavorful tea. Though often served during breakfast, this tea tastes excellent all day long.
OK, let's get down to brass tacks - this is another great tea. Harder to over-steep than some of the teas I have known, it consistently produces a smooth and highly drinkable cup. Highly conventional in its taste, English Breakfast tea has a robust flavor that stands up well to lemon and milk, which makes it a favorite among those who like to accessorize their tea. Plus, I must say that this tea is wonderful iced - add some lemon and sugar, and you've got the right tea for a hot afternoon! And that's my review. If you want an excellent all-round tea, hot or iced, one that goes well with any food, then English Breakfast tea is for you. If you want tea from a great tea producer, them Twinings is for you. I highly recommend Twinings' English Breakfast tea to all, even those not normally into tea drinking. (Or, perhaps especially to those not normally into tea drinking!)

I have been a tea drinker for 35 years, since I gave up coffee when I was young. Of all the teas I have tried, I keep coming back to this one. It is rich, warm, tasty, not too strong, just perfect. And reasonable, especially in a 6-pack, which seems to keep fresh for a long time.

I already knew I loved this tea but Amazon offers it at a great value when you buy the pack of 6.

The only "con" I can think of is that it will spoil you for ordinary tea forever after. And the price is reasonable compared to many other premium teas.

Not as Robust as I remembered,

I had some teabags of Twinings English Breakfast tea from 5-6 years ago before they were repackaged, and the taste was robust and hearty. Just recently I bought the new looking Twinings English Breakfast tea and was disappointed. The strong taste is gone. It lacks substance and is bland. Tazo Awake Black tea and the English Tea Store (store brand English Breakfast tea) have the familiar malty robust taste. Twinings EBT used to be my favorite every morning.
