This is like having old fashioned brewed tea. This really does make a perfect cup of tea, even for a former Englishman that is now an American!

Twinings was founded in London, England in 1706, and has a long and respected tradition of producing only the finest of teas. English Breakfast tea is a mixture of black teas from Sri Lanka, which are blended to produce a smooth yet flavorful tea. Though often served during breakfast, this tea tastes excellent all day long.

OK, let's get down to brass tacks - this is another great tea. Harder to over-steep than some of the teas I have known, it consistently produces a smooth and highly drinkable cup. Highly conventional in its taste, English Breakfast tea has a robust flavor that stands up well to lemon and milk, which makes it a favorite among those who like to accessorize their tea. Plus, I must say that this tea is wonderful iced - add some lemon and sugar, and you've got the right tea for a hot afternoon!

And that's my review. If you want an excellent all-round tea, hot or iced, one that goes well with any food, then English Breakfast tea is for you. If you want tea from a great tea producer, them Twinings is for you. I highly recommend Twinings' English Breakfast tea to all, even those not normally into tea drinking. (Or, perhaps especially to those not normally into tea drinking!)

This is a really good tasting tea and I should know! Having lived all over the world I love many English teas and this definitely great. I brew each k-cup twice into a big mug and it works well.

You can also brew these twice (medium) cup so the price works well.

I loved this tea. You just cannot go wrong with Twinings. Also, try Timothy's English Breakfast Tea.....both are excellent.

I am a keurig k cup daily user and this is my favorite tea kcup. I am a loyal twinings tea lover and I am thrilled that amazon had these available! I will buy them again! Hope amazon adds more k cups (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) to its product list!

Let's not fool ourselves, tea from a Keurig is not the same as brewing tea in a teapot and letting it steep. If you typically make tea by dunking a tea-bag in a cup of hot water then you will like this tea. Overall it tastes pretty good, better than I expected. In fact you can make two cups of tea or one very large mug from one pod. One cup is a little strong tasting (and I actually like strong tea). I will buy this product again as it was a good value and for those times I don't feel like waiting to boil water and let the tea steep these Twinning K-cups are an acceptable alternative.

In the afternoon, tea is my favorite. I brew it using the medium size cup button on Keurig machine. It tastes very good. Not bitter, and not very light either. I am back to Amazon to buy more of this brand right now. Even english breakfast tea is different by the company who packs it. I like twinings the most.

Try it and you won't regret it.

I am English, and love a strong cup, Keurig has perfected the product. If you haven't tried Twinings English Breakfast teas, you should. I can't imagine having to make a pot, and have to look forward to luke warm tea.
Both Twining's and Keurig are now a staple for our house.

I like English Breakfast tea and there was nothing wrong with the flavor of this tea when brewed. However, when used in the keurig machine, my tea consistently had grounds in the bottom. It's not a big deal to have a few grounds in my tea, but there were a lot more than a few, more than could be ignored. I ended up not drinking the entire cup because of it.

At first I thought it was because most people in the office use coffee k-cups and I was getting coffee grounds in my tea. But after switching to Timothy's brand of tea I no longer had a problem with grounds. Usually I had no grounds in my tea or one.

After brewing a cup of each, I cut off the foil top. Both of them have filters built in and the Twinings filter didn't seem to be pierced. But I had the same grounds in the tea that I hadn't had in my cups of brewed Timothy's tea.

To sum up, if you want to avoid grounds in your tea and still have great taste go with the Timothy's k-cups (Timothy's World Coffee English Breakfast Tea, Decaffeinated, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 25-Count Boxes (Pack of 2)) instead.

This is first rate, direct from the UK tea and it is delicious! I've tried several other well known brands of breakfast tea and been less then satisfied. Twinings is bold and tasty and way, way more aromatic then the US brands I used to drink. If this is the tea we threw in the harbour years ago, what a waste!
