I love TwinLab's products, and have always had good success with them. Their brown glass bottles protect the capsules inside, and this particular product does just as it's supposed to. I take it to curb carb cravings (and it works perfectly for me). I take one in the morning with my breakfast...and I have nearly no cravings for sugar all day long. I know I'm not alone, because this is a relatively common usage for Chromium Picolinate. The 500mcg is awesome, too!

This formulation-dosage of Chromium is reported to be the most useful and well absorbed.
This versions is hard to find in supermarkets or health food stores.
The 2 pack version is convenient and well packed for shipping.

This product caused bladder irritation which made me want to pee all the time. So unless you want to spend alot of time in the bathroom, do NOT buy this product.
Prior to this, I have been taking the Blue Bonnet brand of Chromium Piccolinate and I had absolutely no issues. The only reason that I tried this product is because Amazon did not carry Blue Bonnet

I've been taking chromium picolinate since my wife mentioned it to me. She has been taking it since around 1990. We didn't always know what it was doing, just that it was doing something good for our energy level. So we finally researched it a bit, and found this:

In 2005, they were trying to improve the mood of depressed patients with it and discovered that 600mcg a day of chromium picolinate was instead stopping carb cravings. Not a bad discovery, even though it wasn't what they wanted. I'll put the link in the comments. Easier that way.

My only complaint is that the glass bottle is extremely underfilled. It's less than 25% full and you get two of them. So, although it is well packed for shipping, it is "overpackaged" in the sense that the bottles are too huge for the product. Couldn't they use smaller/narrower bottles? Or put more pills into one bottle? If it's difficult to recycle glass in your area, you may want to find some other product.
