4.0 out of 5 stars Eye-Opening
Mrs. Kjos is a wonderful, God-filled Christian who explains the dangers of spiritism from a Biblical perspective.
Jesus DID say that the only way to the Father was through Him. Sorry for those that are offened, but sometimes the truth hurts.

1.0 out of 5 stars Offensive to all non-Christians!
This book is disgustingly offensive to anyone who is not Christian. It preaches the fundamentalist view that Christianity is the only "One True Path". It discusses spiritual individualism as being evil, and says that anyone who wishes to be an individual in a spiritual manner has been dangerously misled. Dangerously misled??? I'd say anyone who believes that his/her...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great info for this day and age., October 19, 2010

I discovered this book a few weeks ago and wow it really spoke to me. I got pulled away from traditional Christianity and for the last 3 years was seduced by all spirituality, new thought and new age practices had to offer. Very appealing but so out of biblical truth and at the time could not see that. God has pulled me back which I am so grateful for, THANK YOU GOD! After a Sunday service I walked into a used book store that had an amazing selection of Christian books and I was feeling a little overwhelmed by the huge selection, I prayed to the Lord to direct me to some reading material that would be beneficial to me and this book jumped out of the shelf, it was quite amazing. It has been such a wonderful gift, and has really opened my eyes to the new age spiritual teachings that are seeping into everything, like a thief in the night and has given me some wonderful tools for me to work with, I have a lot of girl friends that are Christians but that are play around with the tempting practices, that pretend to be God centered. I will be buying many copies to distribute to my friends and hopefully it will speak to them as much as it did to me. Much love to all and continue to walk for our Holy King!! R

5.0 out of 5 stars Never was a warning more needed..., June 19, 2011
By
This review is from: A Twist of Faith (Paperback)
We have entered a time when many modern "christians" are turning back to the broken cisterns of spiritualism. The warnings in this book are valid, even more so with the rise of the "Emerging church movement" and it's off-child "Spiritual Formation." There are different reasons why believers are turning back to these things. Some are bored. Some are seeking new knowledge through their unsanctified pride. Some are looking in the wrong place for healing from the pain(s) of life. Whatever the reason, these spiritualistic deceptions exhibit a particular and peculiar impact upon our women. Thank you Berit, for speaking the truth in love.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Teen Christian Warning to Remember Put God first !, September 15, 2009

A wonderful book to remind you to put God first in your life, above yourself. WE ARE NOT GOD NOR JESUS!! The spin fools many. There are powerful forces out to spoon feed you the spin. The witches and covens and Gays who need to justify their sexuality and in an effort to do so must malign everyone else. This book simply warns you to remain true to Jesus, put God first and be AWARE OF THE SPIN!
Homosexuality destroys the family unit. There is only 1 pearly gate and the path is narrow to enter the kingdom of heaven. A great book for any teenager having Hollywood spin thrust upon them in every TV show now they depict GAY, GAY, GAY sex and kissing daily as if to glorify it! Our kids need a good text to help them counter the spin. The attempt to demonize Hetro's and Christians is just sickening. A Gay man is not a woman's best friend! Since when did the "old dirt road routine elevate them into instant Experts" at everything a woman does from cooking to clothing design. GET REAL!! The Gays know the value of the squeaky wheel routine and high maint. spoiled brats. I say Live & Let Live, Just don't attempt to steal the feminine identity nor demonize Christianity nor come after our kids to justify your "Sexual preference" (.)

Dear Reader,

If you enjoy to read books that stress what all Faihful Christians Believe, that "Truth is Objective" that Truth is reveled to mankind by God and we only can know God by what has been reveled to us by God, than you will enjoy this book.
As an orthodox Catholic, I was delighted and pleased to have read this book, and recomend it to others.

I'd say anyone who believes that his/her individuality is expendable has been dangerously misled.

This book makes a mockery of Christianity by insulting and degrading other faiths. I would reccommend it to NO ONE!
