Book Description

February 18, 2000
Destiny and time are the themes of this novel. Can we really alter time? Would we or could we change any details of our lives if we had the opportunity to go back in time? Michael Grant, who flirts with suicide, is given this opportunity. The ending may be surprising!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, May 26, 2002

Brilliant!

I really admire this author!.there are not to many people that can tell it the way it is without holding back anything and I have to say that Charles Muller is indeed one darn good writer!

To be able to bring you right into the book with him, leaving you with wanting to know more, making you hungry enough that you can't put the book down!

When I watch a movie or read a book I have a way of figuring out how the story is going to unfold..It takes all the excitement out of it. but I want to tell you that Charles Muller pulled the rug right out from under me on this book!..sure there were parts that I figured out but not that many. I enjoyed this book so much.

The author made his characters come alive and with such passion! it certainly had an affect on me and more than once!

At the beginning of this story the author speaks of suicide and boy does he explain it well. I've been there, I know, but what bothers me is the fact that he can explain it so well. Is this book fiction or fact?..seems so no one could explain it that well without feeling it inside!..

I loved his characters though Michael could have used some cheering up!..but Charles Muller got the point across!

I couldn't believe the amount of times that the author took my breathe away..The ending was brilliant! very well written.

What a pleasure it was to read this book. :A Twist in Time" by right should be a best seller. If I could give it a higher score, I would!

I told you people that I would be back and here I am. Get this book, read it, you won't be sorry!

Thank you Charles for such a wonderful book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, June 2, 2002

Awesome!....You often hear children say, Wow! Awesome!.when they see or hear something that they can't quite believe or they think it's just great!
I believe this book, " A Twist in Time " written by Charles Humphrey Muller, is awesome!!
It brings you through many different feelings that you may or may not have experience at one time or another..but the author will certainly bring you through reliving each of them with him..
From the thoughts of suicide to his deep loneliness, disappointments and depression to finding friends and the excitement of what some of those friends were capable of bringing him, to the point of total shock and bewilderment, sometimes quite enjoyable!!
I was never so surprised as I was when I came to the end of this story. I'm 79 years and I enjoyed this book immensely!..believe me, you are not wasting your time reading this book!
A job well done Mr. Muller!

5.0 out of 5 stars A book full of emotion and color!, August 17, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: A Twist in Time (Paperback)
A book full of emotion and color!

First of all I'd like to say that the words, comment, elaborate, laugh, agree, volunteer, assure, squawk, advise, sigh, and surmise are great words--full of feelings and emotions and sound much better than "said"... I can't seem to find the word bookism in the dictionary and I looked (maybe I missed it)... and I looked at the world map and can't seem to find "No-Wheres-ville" anywhere... I don't think I would want to use my name either after saying I didn't want to sound disparaging!..( I found that one in the dictionary!..it means all sorts of things..but why not just use the word belittle! ). In any case I have to say I found this book very colorful!..I enjoyed it tremendously. I'm not an incredibly bright (or pedantic) person--I just enjoy reading things I can understand, with words that are immediately accessible, not words that I have to look up in the dictionary!

"A Twist in Time" has a great story to it and you don't have to be overly intelligent to understand it... and I find that most people enjoy reading books with colorful words instead of the same mechanical "said" words... This author has great imaginative ability and there's nothing lazy about his thinking or writing...

I find Charles Muller to be a great writer and so does my wife... So keep up the good work Charles, I've read five of your books now and plan on getting more!..and if anyone wants to give constructive criticism to the author, maybe they should give it to Him and not to Her..seeing the author is unmistakably a man. (By the way, even my spell-checker won't let me use the word bookism! Perhaps I should add it to its vocabulary.)
