About the Author

Jack Witherspoon is a two-time leukemia survivor and the spokesperson for the Beckstrand Cancer Foundation. He is 10 years old. By age 8, Jack Witherspoon had already battled leukemia twice--he also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Bonnie Hunt Show, and was covered by CNN and the LA Times for the cancer fundraisers he cooked for. Now 10 years old, he is fully recovered and is a spokesperson for the Beckstrand Cancer Foundation.

I bought this cookbook for my 4 year old son for Christmas. The story of Jack, the pictures, and the recipes keep him interested in coming back day after day. We have made 4 or 5 recipes from the book and have a blast doing it together. This book is definitely going on my list to get everyone this year! Not only is it great for kids, but adults will love the recipes too! Have fun cooking!!
