Interesting and somewhat entertaining approach, but the way the plastic links work, you can't just pull the light into the position you want -- you have to twist the links into a viable configuration. It's fun for about the first three times, then you just wish it wasn't so persnickety. Perhaps I'm clumsy, but the links broke apart three times in the first day I used this. The instructions say to just snap them back together; well, that worked the first two times, on the third, it just wouldn't go back together. I'm looking elsewhere.

I had this product for a couple weeks. Once the kids got a hold of it and twisted it a couple times it broke and can't be used. I wouldn't buy it again.

This light provides a good amount of slightly blue LED light, but the "twistable" part of the description requires an explanation. It isn't like one of those plastic-wrapped electronic lights that you can move and bend at any point. This lamp is made up of several short, hard inflexible plastic pieces joined together on swivelling joints. So, you CAN make it point wherever you want it, but it takes a few turns on those swivel-joints to make it happen.

While I may have been slightly disappointed that this lamp isn't as flexible as I expected, it still performs well.

I love the way the light twists but it DOES NOT give off enough light to be effective. It does not even light up the entire keyboard. It was not what I was expecting.

Plastic joints snapped the second or third time I used the lights. Purchased two, broke two first day. They are much too fragile. Very poor design.

Seems like a good idea but this light is poorly made and is now broken after only several days of use. The joints are very weak and are easily broken.

I got 3 of these at 60 percent off, so I'm ok with the purchase. If I had paid the full amount I probably would have been annoyed at myself for buying them. The light it gives off is not that great. I hooked one up to my laptop and one to a sewing machine but took the sewing machine one off. If you are working in a dark room and want to read a note, this is ok. If you want to use it as a working light however, this is not the one to get.

This product fell apart from the time I opened the clamshell. It's a piece of junk! While it looks like a twistable length of wire, it is actually small segments of plastic that supposedly are hooked together and can be twisted by aligned the half moon shapes of plastic. Three of the links disconnected and I cannot get them to join together again. I can see small pieces of plastic inside, but this is one of the junkier pieces of junk to come out of China. I would advise Amazon to take it off their website and return to sender!!!

Had one for about 18 months. It works and is fairly adjustable, but in a completely dark space, a 14-15" laptop keyboard is only illuminated about 80%. When I use this light, color me "stealthy". Most of the time, I didn't travel with the light, so I'd set it and not adjust it very much. Operating like this, it lasted well. When I started taking on trips, and coiling it up for travel, it showed itself to be fragile after 3 events. So I'm looking for a more durable light now. The white look is great, if you aren't going to travel, and can leave the device in a stable position, long-term.

I'm a college student and received this as a gift from my parents. I use it everyday when i'm up late writing papers and I don't want to disturb my roommate. It definitely gives me enough light so I can see what i'm doing. The style of this USB light is very contemporary and not as boring as other lights out there. I like how I can loop it up in a coil when i'm not using it too. I would definitely buy it for friends.
