Book Description

April 1999
Twisted Dreams deals with the complex nature of society, where there's definitely a thin line between sanity and insanity. It takes a look at the urban community and the volatile conditions it has been subjected to within our society. It shows the constant struggle between good and evil, which has created an atmosphere of hopeless contemplation among African Americans. It is definitely a tour guide for anyone who is unfamiliar with the ills of the urban community.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"The book Twisted Dreams is a chronicle of events yet it is current on any corner or narrow street in any urban or not so urban poor or minority community. Shawn P. Lytle writes with the insight of a participant graduate of the streets. Professors and schoolteachers would do themselves and their students a great service by reading this book. I think it is informative and imaginative sufficiently to even be used as a class project or text." -- Dr. Curtis J. Way, CEO Spoonbook Publishing Company
