A reminder of the greatness younger generations are missing. Writing a full score for a movie is an art that is sadly dissapearing in lieu of the lame, forgettable, faster-to-put-together but easier-to-sell compilations movie studios are favoring nowadays (and almost all of them with one or two rap songs... ugh!).
But thanks to CD technology we can still listen to timeless masterpieces by Max Steiner, Elmer Bernstein, Riz Ortolani, Henry Mancini, Jerry Goldsmith, Nino Rota, John Barry, Miklos Rozsa and -of course- Bernard Herrmann, among many others. Bring them back!
