With her latest novel, "Twisted," Ni'cola Mitchell drops us head-first back into the drama-filled life of Dionni Stone from "Over and Over Again."

Ms. Dionni Stone has been through some things: heartbreak, betrayal, and now her best friend needs her. But returning home comes with its own set of challenges, and it means a return to face the things that made her move away in the first place.

In her third novel, Ms. Mitchell has managed to elevate first-person storytelling to an art; each character tells the story from their perspective, but they also get to chime in on the role of the other characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed "Twisted," and read it in less than a day. Ni'cola drew me in with her real dialogue, and a cast of characters who seemed like people that I know. Her writing style made me care about Dionni Stone on a personal level. Then Ms. Mitchell wrapped it all in a nice bow at the end.

For me, "Twisted" was the perfect tale of deception, pain, revenge and unpredictable twists as Dionni finally laid down the law: determined to stand up for her friends, be with her man and, one way or another, make her enemies pay for not taking her seriously in "Over and Over Again."

I am always in support of African American writers, so I will not say that this ebook was a waste of 99 cents. The book was enjoyable to read however the typos were outrageous! Whoever edited this book did a horrible job, if it was edited at all! There were typos on just about every other page thus taking away from the enjoyment of the story. I attempted to ignore the typos but it was very hard to pay attention to the story while re-reading sentences over and over again wondering, "did she mean to put the "an,d" like that?"

This book was all over the place. I got the sense that it was a peice of work that was struggled through to get finished. It did not flow, not to mention the typos and though it tried to make the characters out to live a sorta of high life it was just plain GHETTO! The ending was horrible. I fell like the other reviewer and want my .99 back too. I commend the author for the attempt but if it was given deeper thought it could be rewritten with a deeper plot and even broken up into several different stories instead of crammed into one book.

I never write a review on books I've read but I just had to stop the next innocent book lover from wasting 99 cents. 99 pennies is waaay too much to spend for this mess. The book does not flow, I was so lost trying to follow the story, I just gave up and deleted it from my Kindle.

This book picks up right where the first book, Over and Over Again, left off. So be sure to read it first.

I finished this book in about 2 hours. That's how much of a page turner this book was. I was so curious about what was gonna happen next that I couldn't put it down!

Twisted has it all - betrayal, pain, love, craziness (big time!), suspense, twists and more!

I like that each chapter was written from the perspective of one of the characters. I like books that do that because it's told in first person and I get to see/hear what the character is thinking of everyone else and hear why they do what they do first hand.

I enjoyed this book and outside of some grammatical errors, I thoroughly enjoyed Twisted and Ni'cola's writing style. I do suggest more editing and proofreading in future books. I'll definitely check out more from Ni'cola!

WOW!!! This book was a page-turner just like the prequel. I didn't want to put it down, but I did because I like the suspense of wondering what is going to happen next and making myself suffer. This is the 3rd book I have read by this author and I am a huge fan. Normally, I nitpick at every grammatical error in books, but this book was so good that it wasn't an issue for me. I am also not a fan when a book is overly dramatic and unrealistic. While this book was filled with drama, it wasn't overly dramatic and everything was pretty realistic to me. This kind of stuff can really happen!! I would suggest everyone read this book whether you are into Urban Fiction or not. You HAVE to read the prequel, Over And Over Again, first. You won't be disappointed!

The first page drew me in. It had me excited and ready for the drama. A few chapters later I was somewhat confused; there where characters introduced and I didn't know who they were/were they came from. Pls Note: I found out that you have to read her book titled:Over and Over Again first! Apart from that I enjoyed the story. it was a quick read ( which I like) and kept my attention. I will be reading other books from the author.
Great Job Diva!

after I went back and read the other book I had to come back in and change my review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #Bomb
