5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome hidden gem, February 27, 2004

I don't even remember why I bought this CD. I think it was back in the day where I picked out metal CD's based on the cover and font. Anyway...this CD kicked my ass from the first listen, and still does to this day. I don't know how to describe the sound, because it's kinda unique, but it was ALL HEAVY. The vocalist is rough, but understandable...and the music is aggressive and violent, but each song has amazing songwriting that builds up to a climax and doesn't dissapoint. I find myself singing along to each song. This CD is definitely one of my faves of all time. Imagine Pissing Razors on steroids. I honestly can't believe there's not another CD out there from this band...oh well...at least they came out with a perfect albumn.

5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenally Amazing Aggro-Thrash, July 12, 2002

This album, bar none, has to be one of the best aggro-thrash albums available on the market right now. Their sound is in the vein of Machine Head's early material (Burn My Eyes; The More Things Change) only infinitely faster and extremely well exectuted. The first track 'Dead Breed' is one of the best songs I've heard to date. The production for the entire album is superb, and it's recorded in such a way that the sound of all the instruments mesh together for just one huge wall of sound that will pummel your senses and make you want to come back for more. Fans of bands like Machine Head (their early stuff), Pissing Razors, Pantera (Far Beyond Driven), Sepultura (when they still had Max) and Skinlab (Disembody: The New Flesh) will love this band. And if what I've said so far doesn't get your attention, you should also know that the vocalist for this album later left Face Down to do some vocals for At The Gates, one of the most influential metal bands. On top of it all, this album is also on Nuclear Blast records, one of the premiere labels for high quality heavy metal. As an underground metal DJ for over two and a half years, I highly recommend this album to anyone who loves absolutely brutal, fast-paced metal with scorching vocals. Get this and enjoy!
