Instant Child-Pleaser; great for reading skills,

This review is from: Twisted Tales: Phonics Comics Vol. 7 Issue 1 (Level 3) (Paperback)
Someone gave us several of these (including Twisted Tales, The Smart Boys, and Penny Star) last Christmas. My son was just turning 6 then, in kindegarten, and not innately interested in learning to read....but he LOVED these books. By now he's a great reader, and can read these on his own, and he still often chooses them for bedtime stories. These really do a great job of engaging kids' interest (my daughter also loves them) and surreptitiously building reading skills.

Three little tales w a twist...gives children insight to imagination of how a story can change when viewed from a different angle. Very intertaining reading...great laughs for kids.
