A collection of original fiction that takes you through the air-pirate filled skies of Over the Sahara, to the brink of madness with A Remarkable Picture, and into the atompunk stars with The Hotel Ceres. Journey into the heart of temptation in Devil Does Dallas, to the wildly weird west in A Knight Templar in Lincoln County, and to the edge of man's tenuous grasp of reality in Intruders on Geer Bluff. Plus many more!

More About the Author

A voracious reader from early childhood, Donald Lynn Chance (Don, to friends and family) was looking to add to his artistic pursuits after almost twenty years as a professional studio and road musician, songwriter, film actor and pen & ink artist when he decided to try writing by revisiting the journalism of his high school and college days. Eleven finished novels, a couple dozen short stories and almost three thousand newspaper and magazine articles later, D.L. Chance is as proud of his writing career as he is any of of his other talent-expanding interests.

"Like Heinlein said," Chance is fond of explaining, "specialization is for ants."

5.0 out of 5 stars It was a Good Read., July 3, 2010

If you're seeking something with unusual and eerie settings, yet has some dark comedy, with that paranormal twist involved, or you just want something different & new to read, then this book is for you. Anybody who can't keep their mind occupied with long and drawn out novels, and who tend to be attracted to short stories and tales most definitely won't find these tales of suspense dull. (FINALLY, NEW AND DIFFERENT CREATIVITY FOR A CHANGE). 5 stars!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book!, July 2, 2010
This review is from: Twit Publishing Presents: PULP!: Summer / Fall 2010 (Paperback)
Great book to read for the summer - I gave it to my sister to take to the beach. The stories are fun and weird (in a good way). I would recommend this book to fans of short stories.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best collection of pulp stories I've ever read!, July 1, 2010
This review is from: Twit Publishing Presents: PULP!: Summer / Fall 2010 (Paperback)
As short stories are my primary preference in literature, I consider my tastes in this area refined. After grabbing a look at this exceptional collection of pulp style stories via the Kindle version, I just had to have the print version as well. The tales offered are not only unique, but some of the most entertainingly wild and unique prose I have read in some time. The very talented authors of this anthology offered up some extremely impressive and fun literary concoctions that really don't seem to exist in mainstream fiction these days. If you're looking for downright thrilling and intriguing works of short fiction that will truly entertain, then take this advice from a connoisseur of genre short fiction - PULP! 2010 is a must have!!
