Fully clothed, individually named, and photographed in delightful settings, Anita Louise Crane's teddy bears have a sweet, country appeal. In Two-Hour Teddy Bears, Crane offers patterns and instructions for 17 animals (a few cute bunnies mingle with the bears). Most are fairly easy, made even easier by the fact that some creations are simply synthetic-fur heads set atop stuffed-sack bodies that are cleverly camouflaged by cotton dresses, lacy aprons, flannel vests, or woolen jackets. The bears themselves aren't terribly varied, but their relative simplicity and charming outfits should appeal to teddy bear fans who possess at least basic sewing skills. --Amy Handy
