Two Little Gardeners (Little Golden Book)

When my daughter was born in 1979, I wanted to share with her my favorite childhood book. At the time, there was not "the web", as we know it,or Amazon. I must have traveled 300 miles and visited 30 bookstores. As I anticipate a grandchild someday, I decided to search for this book.... and there it was... I have looked at it over 25 times. And, as an educated adult, I understand the personality characteristics I have which attracted me to this book. Hooray, for Amazon.

I like this story a lot, about how the gardeners make their vegetable garden and how they store the food for winter. There's a song at the end of it, too.

Unfortunately, the gold tape that binds the book is very poorly glued on and is already peeling off after only a few months (and we haven't read it *that* often, either).

I've seen older Golden Books without this problem, but the newer editions almost universally seem to have this issue :(

Both my children love Little Golden Books! You can't really go wrong w/ any of them.
