Without wanting to downgrade the level of the excellent ability of James's musicians, this album shows the amazing strength and range of the Dream Theater vocalist.Given free reign and without the outstanding musical ability of the other members of Dream Theater, which sometimes took a lot away from the vocals, James La Brie gives us a beautifully crafted progressive rock album without monumentally long tracks that is a delight to listen to from start to finish.
