This book certainly is a must have for every clergy and officiants that performs wedding ceremonies. It covers every aspect from the wedding plans to the ceremony; it also offers some wonderful counseling tips and perspectives. If you are a minister and are tired of doing the same ceremony wedding after wedding, then this book is certainly for you. It offers a variety of 20 different ceremonies to choose from. Whichever you choose to perform I'm sure the bride and groom will be purely delighted.

Since I perform weddings, this book has outlines of various vows which is a great help to the brides and grooms. Great book for ministers and judges who perform weddings.

If you're looking to create a classic wedding, this might be more helpful for you, but it was too classic-religious to help with the wedding I was planning.

Judith Johnson's "The Wedding Ceremony Planner: The Essential Guide to the Most Important Part of Your Wedding Day" was perfect for our needs, however. Everyone was raving about the beautiful cerermony =)

Most of the sample weddings are extremely religious. If you've become ordained only so that you can marry some friends, and the friends are not religious, this is not the book for you.

I am very glad we purchased the book, the minister who is officiating the wedding suggested we look at the book to mix-n-match various wedding ceremonies! Great ideas, however, the ceremonies were not as modern as I expected. The only unity ceremony for the couple is the unity candle, I was hoping there was some verbiage for the unity sand. I am thankful the minister has the info, I'm not sure of the name of the book, but if you are looking to incorporate unity sand, look for another book. Other than that, I was pleased with the wedding ceremonies.
